Dad of Boy is my most hated game ever, you can't even jump in it, the inventory is a big mess, you can buy 1000 combat moves that are pointless, the story is about not Kratos, you know the god of war? but about some viking dude

Spoiler!
who can't feel anything until the boy stabs him with his micro pingis jajaja

Do yourself a favor and play the first 3 games.

Well, you're entitled to your opinions, but I find them strange.

Why would you need to jump, the gameplay doesn't require you to jump? This god of war is not in the habit of jumping around, it's not his style. Well, he does jump as part of some special attacks, but that's that.

The inventory at first glance looks like a lot, but it's all neatly categorized.

Why would the combat moves be any more pointless than in any other similar game?

The story is about Kratos and his son, there are other "dudes" as supporting characters just like there have always been in God of War.

I guess you don't like to have any depth with the antagonists, huh? They should just be fodder to mash through?

Nice spoiler by the way.

If you liked that them you have a dozen games or more that had came only for PS3 and even more for PS4, still you didn`t buy those. So guess you don`t like that much =p

And last I remember Nintendo games aren`t really narrative-driven.

I didn't say Nintendo games were, nor did I say there weren't plenty of ps games I'd be interested in playing. I just have never owned a PlayStation nor plan to at this point (I own Nintendo platforms and gaming PC).

I know you didn't say Nintendo games are.

The strange part is you saying you love the genre and type of game, but not having the platform that is mostly focused on them.

Why so hostile?  I figured your original post as a joke...but it seems you were serious?

You do know he is hostile against Playstation in general right?

For me it is strange to hate so much the company that does the type of game you love.

I don't hate Nintendo, but since their type of game isn't the type I prefer although I have the HW and some games I don't focus on it at all. But wouldn't you find hard to understand if I said I love platforming games, gameplay driven without much story, but have never owned any Nintendo console or played any of their games? How can you love something and not even trying what is considered the best when it is well within your powers to do so? Similarly if Multiplayer or shooting games where my favorite I would be closely attached to Microsoft.

1.  He cannot be that much against them.  I mean, he got a PS5 afterall.  I can say this however, as someone who has had a PS2, PS3, and PS4 (till 2017) as their primary console...and even been widely known as a "Pony" by some for over a decade...due to how toxic and arrogant a certain part of the fanbase was within the 8th generation, I was pegged as a drone and more recently a bot simply because I have a habbit to speak against said toxic part of the Sony fanbase.  In fact, I remember when someone accused me on this very site of not having a PS4 and my PSN ID in my profile must have been a friends and not really mine, because there was "no way someone could prefer Nintendo games over PS if they actually had both."

DISCLAIMER, I am not directing this as an insult to ANYONE, just saying that during gen 8 the most toxic part of a fanbase became very loud, and this does not apply to every (or even most) Sony fans.  I am simply saying that things are not black and white, and your perception of people can easily be skewed by perspective.

2.  In the wake of quite a few Sony games going to PC, and the OP does have a PC I believe, it would not be a stretch to think they played a few of the PC ports, liked them, then decided to buy the console that is known for those types of game.

3.  Much like the above point, games from the cinematic genre do exist on Switch (such as life is strange), PC, and XBox.  If this was a recent revelation through these points, is he not allowed to claim that this preference now exists just because he did not own the console they are known to be on?  Can someone who is on PS or Switch not enjoy games like Fortnite or Call of Duty because they don't have an XBox?

It's funny that you are mentioning any sort of depth regarding dad of boi, it was designed so that any housewive could complete it while facebooking and instagramming.

1 - Dulfite have said time and again he doesn't own any Playstation HW. He bought God of War for PC and his first Sony game ever. And yes there is toxic fanbase for each platform, and you being on playstation would likely be more used to them.

2 - Yes he say he have a PC. This is the first Sony game he bought ever, not the first console, unless I'm totally wrong on my reading.

3- Sure. But on this, the way of the phrasing seems more like he have always liked than just started liking.

PS: Guess you have to reread his OP, if you remember his other posts it will also help you get context. And I don't dislike the guy, in fact I like his posts and the fact he doesn't pretend.

So once again, because I'm curious, why did/do you hate Playstation?

Justifying fanboy criteria is too hard. Hating a company = pathetic, unconditional love for a company = pathetic

Funny how people generally feel companies give a damn about them.

1.  I misread his original post.  Not above admitting when I am in the wrong, so disregard this point.  I read it as "first Sony console" and it registered as a similar thread to the one Kratoslives made when he got his first MS console.  My bad.

2.  You are correct in your reading here, but my point still stands.  There are a ton of narrative driven games on PC, and one does not need the "console they were known to be on" to love that type of game.

3.  Since my point 1 was a misread on my part, this is basically the same as point 2 now.  Story driven games are available on every console, one does not need a PS to love the genre.  With more Sony games going to PC, that need is diminishing anyway.  Whether or not his love fore them is a recent development or a product of playing these other games in the past, I cannot say.

Yeah, looks like he doesn't want to answer my question. I think that says alot. Can't rationally hate a console and it's games if you never even owned the console or played any of the games.

I have enjoyed narrative PC games for many years, especially the Arkham games. Gamepass gives me access to so many of those I don't have time to play them all, so any I buy on PC these days have to REALLY stand out. I almost jumped on Horizon 1 as my first Sony game, but have pushed that back due to the criticism I've read of that game. When gow came out I couldn't resist as I've wanted to play it for years. If Spiderman comes out I will instant buy that on PC.

Most of the Sony narrative games have story components I don't enjoy. I am not into Zombies (so TLOU 1/2 are thrown out), or overly violent/bloody games, or games with a higher amount of cursing, or games with nudity/sexuality. Good stories don't need any of that for me, and including those details makes it unenjoyable to me. Nintendo has the other problem, not enough story despite having the setup I like.
