Well, it must be a Tetris, like the other two. Which Tetris do people like? Maybe Puyo Puyo Tetris?

Kakadu18 said: #46: Tetris Effect: Connected Again Tetris, but this time it's a totally different experience. By moving the tetriminos you make different sounds and absolutely amazing music slowly builds up with every row you complete, with so many beautiful effects on the screen. It's simply beautiful. When I saw gameplay when it first released on the PS4 in 2018 I just thought: "I want this". And then it came to the Switch. Playing it is such an otherworldly experience. Absolutely amazing. The peak of what you can do with Tetris. My favorite puzzle game. |

42.- Nope
41.- Yep, thats the one
39.- No, but thats a very good guess.
Guessed by Mnementh
This game proved that you don't need the most cutting edge hardware to make something great, and even something that looks like it's the best thing of the generation. Considering only the handhelds anyway. I don't see anything from the 8th Generation's portable offerings that's better looking than 'Resident Evil: Revelations'. Even on 3DS's counterpart, the Vita. Granted I only played two games there, and two demoes of two others, but both 'Uncharted Golden Abyss' and 'Resident Evil: Revelations 2' certainly weren't as good looking. Revelations 2 is also a much worse game than its predecessor but that's another story.
I was not only completely blown away by graphical prowess though. This game was also great fun, with a B-Movie style story you'd expect from the Resident Evil series, but "B" in just the right way. The game came with a bit of a clunky peripheral that added a second control stick to the regular 3DS, which only had one natively. It also made great use of the system's much maligned 3D effect. I thought the effect was great in most things, and I'm actually kind of bummed that Switch doesn't have it. For Resident Evil: Revelations it added to the tension, which in turn adds to the fun of the gameplay. The corridors of the ship seem even more claustrophobic, a feeling one usually wouldn't like, but somehow for this game, it feels good.

47 - Guitar Hero 2 By the way, saying how much you like a game compared to the assumed "popular opinion" does not make it easier to guess. |
47 - Yep!
44 - And Most of its tracklist can be played in entry 44, Rock Band 1, 2, 3, and 4! Rock Band 2 is the right answer here/
39 - Nah, I haven't beaten that one yet but it is good.
38 - Yep! I prefer 2D gaming in general, and I think the adventure elements are better.
36 - Nope, but I'll keep this hint in mind when God of War 2018 does come on the list (I love 2018 but hate the preceding games)
35 - Nope! I actually think OOT is one of the most overrated games of all time. solid 7/10 game, great idea with some MAJOR problems.
34 - Yup! The purity and simplicity of it make it easier to go back to even though people complaining about new gen designs are dumb (Diglett is a pile of dirt)
31 - also yes! I absolutely loved this game and was over the moon seeing its love at the Game Awards. this game mixed with the network test makes me SUPER DUPER excited for Elden Ring.

OK I think maybe 1 is right... 47. Guitar Hero II? 44. Guitar Hero III: Warriors of Rock? 39. Hollow Knight? 38. Dragon quest Builders? 36. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4? 35. The Legend of Zelda BOTW? EDIT: Well @mZuzek beat me to it... |
47 - Yes to guitar Hero II
44 - Absolutely no to Guitar Hero 3. I hate that game. a good setlist does not make it a good game if the charting and visual effects are terrible. Mzuzek correctly guessed it as Rock Band 2.
39 - Nah, I liked it but I haven't finished it.
38 - Never played it
36 - I REALLY should, since I have it on the Vita, but no.
35 - Nah, that game is FAR higher on my list!

39 - Metroid Dread 37 - Killzone Shadow Fall 36 - Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag 34 - Pokémon Let's Go 31 - Bloodbourne |
39 - Haven't played it yet. I have it and loved the hour or so I got into it so I can see that entering my top 50, but I'm not there yet.
37 - Nah, not a fan. didn't like Killzone all that much. thought 2's controls were clunky and while 3 was pretty good, it wasn't anything special.
36 - Yes! SING ME A SEA SHANTY! (Seriously, this is a game I return to once a year to inspire my fantasy pirate short stories)
34 - I only just tried this game for the first time yesterday (LEts Go Pikachu) and gave up the second I realized I couldn't play with my pro controller. I chose to not like this game ages ago (I felt that lets go was just a prettier but more boring version of Red/Blue taking out 75% of the actual gameplay), but decided in the interest of fairness I'd give it a shot. Nope. Didn't even make it to my first...battle? Cannot stand this game, sorry mate.
31 - Naw, that game will be FAR higher on this list (Hint, it's my favourite game of all time that ISN'T influenced by Nostalgia and ISN'T on the SNES)
45 - Witty woman goes in, homocidal psycho robot comes out.
- Confectionary Lovers need not apply.
- Narbacular Drop Spiritual Successor. <-- If you google this hint you'll get it and feel kinda silly for not getting it.
39 - Like Super Metroid but better (yeah I know I'll get a lot of hate for this)
- Instead of a double jump, you get a Drone Toss
37 - Like it's 2009, PS3 rendition but better in every way.
- The Dev team just got purchased by Sony this year for their work on this game (among other, similar projects)
35 - According to review aggregators, this is the best in the franchise. I put 5 games in the franchise ahead of it.
- The Franchise has more than ten entries, and this one harkens back to ALL of the entries prior to it in some way or another.
33 - THEY'RE GOING BACKWARDS ON THE COVER ART!
- Newton's Worst Infinite nightmare
32 - this cheekily-titled threequel introduced online multiplayer...and somehow the plot threads are still being recycled in the series in 2021.
- The Developer was also bought by sony recently due to their work, in part, on this series.

Correct!
45 - Witty woman goes in, homocidal psycho robot comes out. |
45 - Portal. And yes, I get the clues now.
mZuzek said: So, funny thing I just realized when looking at my list. The next game is the first one whose platform is neither PC or Switch, everything so far has been one of those two. I guess that's a hint in itself, but anyways. #38 - It was the first game in this series where we got to play as the protagonist without armor. |
#38 - Metroid Fusion

I don't know which game this is, but this sounds interesting. |
42 is Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders. A very unique game in a genre that has died out.
People aren't able to guess my games haha, 2 in a row now. I have fallen behind! So here are a bunch more hints. I also made a mistake, these games are lower on my list.
41 Unlike most RTS games this game has some RPG mechanics built in.
40 Jump out of exploding planes, and survive derailing trains, climb the biggest mountains in the world..
39 Down forward punch, down forward punch, down forward punch, down forward punch. Noobs of this game would be very annoyed playing against this in this 4th game of a long running series.
38 This RPG features an exiled princess, a thief, a relentless captain, 2 mages and an old king.

Uhhh... I feel like your memory's failed you there. It's not Metroid Fusion. |
Duhh... yeah the other one.. Zero Mission.
