I rack my brain about #44 since the first hint, but I just have no idea.

You'll get there! I prefer to come up with lots of hard hints than post a hint that will get guessed straight away haha.

But no #42 isn't Zelda, there's actually 3 hidden clues in that one sentence that relate to the game in a secondary way. But 2 of them definitely wouldn't be spotted by someone who didn't know the game beyond surface level.
