Forums - Sales - Famitsu sales: Week 44, 2021 - (25th Oct - 31st Oct)

The OLED model is really bouncing up and down from week to week. I wonder if it'll settle before the holidays.

Signature goes here!

32k on Wii U so this port is already 10k up on the initial release.

Lifetime? That's terrible.

No that's the opening week sales. 47k was the last numbers from Famitsu.

Stock issues?

“Consoles are great… if you like paying extra for features PCs had in 2005.”

Looks like OLED stock was low again. Assuming another shipment is coming for the next week and we'll see Switch sales jump up again.

The OLED model lost half of its sales compared to last week. Obviously stock issues. Without it Switch would have reached 90 - 100k again.

This was a big week for new software. The top 6 SKUs are all new.

This did not translate to higher sales for Switch this week. I thought they would ship out extra hardware to go with Mario Party. Guess not. I definitely over predicted weekly sales for this week.

Xbox Series X|S is now at 113526. It should surpass the lifetime sales of Xbox one next week, outselling its predecessor in 50 weeks.

Here is the launch aligned chart.

That was a drop for Xbox Series, but still on pace to outsell Xbox One by next week.

Stock issues prevented 2021 regaining the lead this month and while 60k isn't that much to overcome in the last couple months the lack of stock might put a stop to any chance of that happening.

Good PS5 sales, but the software sales to go with it don't seem to be there, anyone understand what is going on?
