Yeah, except he's not buying the game at all and so, therefore, stealing the game.

This is all that was said:

>might play Bayo2 and this one some day through emulation

He seems to be implying piracy, but that's an assumption as he doesn't directly say anything about it.

^ Indeed. It's pretty clear in his last post he doesn't even own a Switch and rather just steals games. Also, people love to say emulating is legal but forget the part ROMs are ILLEGAL. You can't emulate without ROMS. If you want to emulate Elemental Gimmick Gear from a 20+-year-old console from a dead company be my guest but modern games? Fuck that.

ROMs are not illegal. How you obtain the ROM is what determines whether it is legal or not.

Downloading a ROM from the internet = Illegal.

Dumping a game you own onto an SD card = legal.  That ROM is completely legal.

So you're trying to tell us that he's going to buy the game just normally and then go all the way and transfer the files to a PC because well, that's just how he rolls, that's his thing. Sure!

But that's an assumption as he doesn't directly say anything about it.

Xbox and Playstation fans: "I'm tired of all the Switch port begging."

Xbox and Playstation fans: "Why can't we have Bayonetta 3?"

I personally don't think asking for ports is inherently a bad thing, but one does need to be willing to take no for an answer, and ask for sensible/possible things.

I mean, as a Switch gamer I've "port begged" for several games, such as Crash Bandicoot 4 and Sniper Elite 4, but those were games that actually had a chance of coming over (and in fact eventually did) and if the dev had just said, "no, sorry, that isn't going to happen" I'd leave it at that. I'd also never ask for say, Spiderman or Horizon Zero Dawn on Switch, for obvious reasons.

The problem with the port-begging for Bayonetta 2/3 is that people seem to be refusing to accept no for answer and continue to pester the devs about it endlessly, for years on end, after being told numerous times why it's not happening.

My issue is the hypocrisy on the Xbox/PS fans part. Either port begging is bad or it isn't. They don't get to choose when it's bad because it's inconvenient.

Is it me or does it seem like Bayo 3 has absorbed some DNA not just from Astral Chain, but also the cancelled Scalebound?

The surprise. crossover, two games.

Scalebound and Bayon 3, only on Switch.

I think that was most peoples first impression which is funny as Astral Chain has DNA from Nier,Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta. I don't blame the Scalebound thing either. They had an idea they wanted to use and found a way.

It's co-directed by Scalebound's director/designer, AsCh used some of Scalebound's intended mechanics as well.

Funnily enough, some folks are speculating that the dude at the end of the Bayo 3 trailer is the main guy from Scalebound.

Seeing how MS owns Scalebound. Nah. Kamiya just likes white haired characters. Dante. Jeane. Loki. Wonder Blue. This dude and so on. Probably a new look for Jeane or maybe an older Loki. Maybe just a new character. I hope they don't do Baldur again.
