The year is 2030 and SpaceX has a huge moon base, called Moon Base, where headquartered, capable of housing 200 million people so far. SpaceX basically controls the moon and seeks control over Mars in the future. SpaceX is not seen as a major threat and is allowed to expand, at least until recently...

SNY creates galactic partnership with SpaceX, Tesla, etc.
Announcement of PS Plus including Now and Moon Pass.
SpaceX new rockets named Arial, Ardon, Erebus, Oberon, etc.
PS6 code names leak being Falcon, Raptor, Merlin, Dragon, etc.
Starlink renamed to PS Link and will be exclusive to PS customers.
Hyperloop renamed to PS Loop and is timed exclusive during the daytime (tunnels included).
Tesla vehicles all come fully stock with newest PS hardware and PS Now cloud streaming capabilities.
PS Now is more like Netflix and Moon Pass includes primary moon residence and anytime international and interplanetary rocket travel as well.

MS quickly tweets they have no interest in the moon as they think taking over celestial bodies is anti consumer.
MS also quietly announces massive funding for Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic.
BO and VG then announce they are planning to build their own moon bases...

Clearly violating anti-trust laws. The next step is will be buying up Saturn and Uranus for a Solar System monopoly.

Na. It's way more important that MS invests in the future.

They've definitely gotta find and claim Planet X asap.

If SNY gets it first the memes will be out of this world...

The year is 2031 and all existing restaurant chains have been acquired under the Taco Bell brand, except for 2. This brand just happens to be the second restaurant to open shop on the moon, not long after Tesla Diners started to pop up.

SNY acquires the chain.

Microsoft is going to buy the Earth from Amazon?  That is news!  They must be selling it so that Jeff Bezos' wife doesn't get half.

lol fun read

No, it won't materialize because there is a powerful fruit out there to block the acquisition and that fruit is called "Apple"

With reports that Elon Musk has now Trumped Jeff Bezos as the richest valued man in the world (~$300 billion), there are now suggestions that, with the value he will obtain from SpaceX in the coming years, Elon will be the world's first trillionaire. At that rate of financial growth, MS will have to expedite their plans to buy Earth to prevent Elon from doing so himself in 27 years.

Meanwhile, Sony has gone all in on raising funds in order to buy the planet by releasing games on PC. It will be too little, too late.

Nintendo is content not owning Earth, or any plot land. They just want the people to understand. If we understand, they are happy.

Other ultra rich companies are too focused on other areas to get it together enough to cut MS off. Meta, for example, has their board of directors too busy sitting around asking extremely deep questions with vague answers about what meta means in the first place.
