Great Direct! Looking forward to a lot of what was shown. I'm a huge Super Monkey Ball fan so I'm super hyped for Banana Mania and also the Danganronpa collection. Kazuya for Smash is a top most wanted pick of mine so I'm happy (Crash next please Sakurai!) BOTW2 looks amazing. Was not expecting Advance Wars to make a return in a big way.

8. Very good. Not quite as good as 2019. Better than anything else this E3 by a country mile. Been a 10 if Bayonetta was there.

It's a 6/10. I wouldn't say this was an awful E3 from Nintendo, seeing as we get a new Metroid, the return of Advance Wars, FINALLY new footage of Breath of The Wild 2, WarioWare's back, but we got a Smash Bros. newcomer nobody asked for, Mario games we already knew about, and Donkey Kong once again got the shaft ON HIS 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF ALL THINGS!!

Why does Nintendo hate Donkey Kong so much? -_-

I laughed, because when I heard 'celebrating a beloved series' and saw the images of bananas, I thought "hey, they actually remembered Donkey Kong!". Lo and behold, it was Super Monkey Ball lmao.

Great show by Nintendo, Shin Megami Tensei 5, MH Stories 2 (liked this gameplay trailer much more than the story trailers) and Mario Golf were my highlights. BotW2 ofcourse also looked great, but "aiming for 2022" just always sounds so "expect it 2023" to me.

Metroid Dread was quite the surprise, yet I'm not much of a 2D Metroidvania player and tbh Ori and Hollow Knight look more aesthetically pleasing to me.

For me it's a 7 would have been a 9 if Zelda was coming this year or if a wild Bayonetta 3/SilkSong appeared

Around the Network

- breath of the wild 2
- metroid 2D
- mario party
- fatal frame Wii U port

..that's a 9 in my book

Metroid Dread and Danganronpa were definitely the high points for me.
The BotW Sequel looks great (no suprises there) but the teaser was really short. As hyped as I am for the sequel, with that little teaser it wasn't exactly their strongest closer in my opinion.

I voted 8/10 all in all. Not their best E3, but quite solid.

If you had told me in advance that we'd get no new DK, no Pikmin 4, no Bayonetta 3 or NMH3, nothing new on Prime 4 and BOTW2 isn't arriving until next year, I'd cry fail. But the reality is that BOTW2 looks awesome, new WW, Advance Wars 1&2, and, uh, Metroid Dread just made my day. Crus'n looks fun, SMT5 looks intriguing and many of the things I'm not even particularly interested in looked pretty good. And except for Zelda it's all coming this year. Great direct and (presumably) they haven't even shown their big holiday game yet.

6/10. A lot of good supporting titles but it lacked a big holiday game. Every big title announced so far is being pushed to 2022 (Splatoon 3, BotW2, Pokemon Arceus) and the 3D Mario team, Mario Kart team, Monolith Soft (New IP), Platinum (Bayonetta 3), Retro (Metroid Prime 4) and 2D Mario team haven't said shit. I'm sitting here wondering if Nintendo is really planning to lean on that janky looking Pokemon Diamond/Pearl remake to carry the holiday season.

I give it a 8/10. Great stuff. Metroid Dread being the highlight for me. Also BOTW2 looks amazing.
