Someone likely already said it, but... TLOU2 is, indeed, a masterpiece of a game. :]

You'd never know that The Last of Us PArt II was actually well-liked if you only came to forums like this one. Outside of the more outlandish, loud folks who aggressively hate things, the majority loved the game.

Agreed, and the loud folks who aggressively hate things moved their male insecurity goalpost to say "the story sucked, that's why" when the vast majority of them are taking issue with a female bodybuilder.  Hell, I even had to disprove people saying that "it's not possible" when they didn't play the game and see that the Wolves literally have a farm, and a gym, and lots of produce/food.  Like, this girl was pissed and wanted to get revenge, and she got jacked over the next four years so she could do it.  That's absolutely believable to me, revenge is a serious motivator, and we see it in movies all the time: people training themselves hard to ensure they're going to be the one to deliver some dues/justice (even if that's just justice in their own eyes).  Once that's laid out there, these loud folks shifted to how the story "ruined" everything about the first game when it really extended it rather well.  What goes around comes around!

I'm a bit of a PlayStation hater (well, not a hater. I just don't want them to win all the time!) and I gave TLoU2 a 9.5/10.

Is a hottake to find Ellie's gameplay funnier than Joel's? 

Bioshock Infinite is one of the best games of its generation.

Call of Duty games are great and I look forward to each new one every year!

My favorite game of the 7th generation was Valkyria Chronicles.

Funnier? I didn't laugh much playing either Joel or Ellie.

I gotta say, it's very hard to not argue with everyone who likes a certain game I hate. but this thread is about positivity, not arguments, so I hold my tongue! Except this post, where I show you all how amazingly awesome and mature I am by not countering people's posts I disagree with :P
