At this pace it should get close to 15kk, so that's my choice for the poll. I got mine close to launch but have not got the time too play it lol.

Over the last year it was actually selling at more or less the same rate as Odyssey, so it's pretty much up there with the evergreens in terms of its current momentum, which is damn impressive.
Currently I'd guess 16 mil.

2024 OpenCritic Prediction Leagues:

Nintendo | PlayStation | Multiplat

LM 1 was a stunning game for me. The visuals were fantastic and it was about as scary as I wanted a game to get. Dark Moon was less scary, but had some many gameplay improvements that it too was a huge pleasant surprise. 3 is basically what Dark Moon was except with a different setting and better visuals. Each floor being its own unique theme was a huge blast. Honestly I love all three games for different reasons.

I expect 12-15 million. 12 if Switch receives no pro variation and Switch 2 comes 2023. 15 if they do and stall on Switch 2 until 2024-2025.

For the current fiscal year it has sold the same as Mario Odyssey. Those are much better legs for a Luigi game than ever before. I'm saying 17-18m.

Bonus: Haven't played a LM game yet, but I guess I need to give this one a try.

Maybe it'll tickle 17million. I think it'll definitely pass 15m before we see a Switch replacement.

Bonus: LM3 is easily my favourite in the series. It added a lot of awesome gameplay mechanics with things like grabbing with the plunger, slamming, Gooigi, etc. The themes of all the floors were a great idea as well. I didn't really care for the mission structure of the LM2 as you'd be doing a lot of rooms multiple times. The first one was a great new concept at the time but a bit on the short side. I do hope they expand the game even more with a bigger, more open world, with compact areas. Not every game needs to be open world but I think LM could really benefit from it. Gimme Luigi's Ghost Town.

edit: I miss clicked the poll...

Should be able to hit 14m or so right?

Probably 12-15 million, although I could see it going a little higher than that.

LM3 is my favorite, although I did enjoy Dark Moon as well. Never played the first game.

I'm thinking it should break 15M at the end, so I'll pick the positive range and 15-15.9 is my vote. However I wouldn't be surprised if it just about misses it.

As for the bonus; Probably Luigi's Mansion 2. One of the high point of the 3DS, which the best 3D effect on the system. I think 3 went on for just a tad too long. It was fun though and the characters were great. It's been too long since I played the original, it was back on GameCube, so while I remember I liked it, to my surprise actually, I don't really remember in what capacity.

More than 15mil.

13 million. It's got several million left in it.
