Favorite can be a tough thing to decide on. The N64 was my first video game console and it is something that was and still is a very big part of my life. If I were to equate "favorite" with "most quality title" then it would most likely be Ocarina of Time with Mario 64 not far behind.

That being said, if I were to pick the game that I have spent the most amount of time playing then it probably would have been Smash Bros when I was a kid. I have also spent a ton of time playing Shadows of the Empire not necessarily because it was a great game but because I find it strangely addictive as an adult and quite challenging trying to beat the game on the harder difficulty settings.

If I were to pick the game that I have the most nostalgia towards then it would probably would have to be Yoshi's Story, probably more-so because of where my life was at the time and the memories that playing it brings back to me.  If I had picked up Yoshi's Story for the first time today, I doubt that I would be so forgiving of the game's obvious drawbacks.

So in short, it is hard for me to decide on a single favorite.  I picked Ocarina in the poll mainly because it hits on high on the list in terms of game quality, my time spent with the game (at least 6 play-throughs between the regular and Master Quest) as well overall nostalgia and is probably my overall #1.

Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Mischief Makers
Cruis'n World (I wish Nintendo would put Cruis'n Blast on Switch)
Mega Man 64
Starfox 64
Jet Force Gemini
Sin n Punishment
OoT (tho it's aged poorly)

Side note I also like No Mercy and WCW games. All Star Baseball series on N64.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Voted other for Diddy Kong Racing.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Hard to pick between Ocarnia and GoldenEye. Favorite game that I missed out on and didn't play until downloading it on the Wii years later was Paper Mario. My favorite a little more obscure N64 games were Blast Corps, and Mischief Makers.

My top 5 games on N64 were:

Golden Eye
Super Mario 64
Banjo-Kazooie
Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64

There are only two N64 games I like, Super Mario 64 and DOOM 64. The Zelda entries are not of my liking, I think the series finally got used to 3D with Wind Waker.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Majora's Mask. Quite an omission on the poll.

I think most here know which one I picked.

Ocarina of Time, but Super Mario 64 runs it very close. Goldeneye and Banjo-Kazooie are both great shouts too.

Very, very hard pick. I think we went through this before here at VGC. For impressiveness, it would be Ocarina, but Banjo was almost as impressive and even more so in some departments. For general feel of what the N64 meant, it would have to be Mario. And the list commits a crime not including Diddy KR, but oh well. Finally, the game I actually enjoyed the most: even though I thought Turok to be more immersive, the sheer amount of amazing single player + multiplayer fun in a single pack on Goldeneye is something that I believe no other game, to this day, has been able to capture, so that would be my top pick.
