Village looks amazing; seems to take the best elements of all the series' high points. Re:Verse looks lame; probably just a monetization afterthought to appease executives.

I only really started getting into RE relatively recently, but this has definitely motivated me to get caught up with the titles I haven't played yet.

Shame they changed it to cross gen, was hoping they would try to push the hardware. But I guess it should be expected with so many of the gen 9 consoles sitting on ebay instead of being played, on top of already being in tight supply overall. Looks like scalpers are hurting progress more than some people would like to admit.

In any case, I am very excited for it. I loved RE7 so I am curious to see how the next entry turns out in this style.

I can see that, and it is probably a seperate dev team as well since they already dropped gen 8 versions once.  I just hope it doesn't end up like Cyberpunk, where the game is broken on gen 8 consoles.  A heavy downgrade in visuals should be fine if thats what it takes, but hopefully they can deliver a smooth framerate for those versions.

Hmm, it looked kind of iffy at various points of the demo.

The start of the demo wasn't great, once you get into the mansion it looks a lot better. Looking forward to the full game.

If it's directed by the same guy that made the last game, I won't be buying day one. The game was too short, was great till you exit the house,and missing content was sold off as dlc.

Zero interest. I have played all main games up to 6. As soon as 7 when first person they lost me on this franchise.

RE7 was excellent, especially on VR. I’m looking forward to this game....when it drops in price, like I always do with the games I want to play.

I will most likely get it day 1, though it feels strange for a company to moneyhat a demo.
