'The' game awards? Aren't there like a 100 or more? It's all just advertisements anyway.

It's literally called that. And yes there are a ton of others, but this one weighs more and has quite a viewership (and growth year over year). It's like movies; tons of awards but only one Oscar.

And if by "advertisements" you are referring to brand new game world premieres and more of games we know about being shown, that is a good thing lol. Basically we get an award show, funny moments (intentionally and unintentionally), and a mini E3 all wrapped into one show. I have watched every year and quite enjoy it!

I just hope to get some definitive info on Tales of Arise and Dragon Age 4. I feel like I first heard of them like 91842192384 years ago and still nothing regarding release date or even an extended teaser/trailer. Some drama involving Kojima would also be much appreciated.

Such a hilarious moment! I don't even know what the Oscars did to this guy to tick him off so much haha.

I don't know if it will. I don't thing TGA is woke-leaning politically speaking, I could be wrong and maybe they are. There have been a enough Nintendo nominations and awards that I feel like they are fairly center, politically speaking, considering Nintendo games are about as anti woke as games can get.

Leaving everything you said about "woke-politics" aside, many would argue TLOU2 should win for its own merits as a videogame. Not me tho, but many would.
