A little basic math would tell you that half of a 15 chapter book is actually 7.5 chapters, which is plenty of time to see that I am bored with the direction story and decide to move on.  It is completely relevant as it goes against your notion that anyone who dislikes the story is a bigot or has backwards ideals.  Many just found it uninteresting for one reason or another.

And the reason you got kicked out of that "discord circlejerk" was due to the hostile and closed minded nature you continually show to anyone who does not agree with you.  I mean really, just look at the only post I made in this thread.  All I did was say the gameplay was good, but I got bored with the plot halfway through the game.  Yet here we are with you attacking me because it goes against the notion of your opinion being law.

As for the rest, I am not passing what I say as law. You have to be willfully blind to not see how much hate this game and its story got for various ignorant reasons. It was picked apart like few games ever are, and aspects were taken out of context to drive a narrative. Now you can take what I said personally and wear the hat or not. Either way, if you have more to say about me, I invite you to keep it to your circle jerk, or take it to PMs. 

If you left on your own, then good for you.  If you cannot get along with who is there, it is best to leave.  Can't look down on that I suppose.

Having said that, I am full aware that hate was thrown for those reasons by a very vocal group of people.  I never claimed it wasn't.  All I said was that I found the story boring, and lost interest 15 hours into the game.  If that somehow translates to me being "willfully ignorant" because I don't agree with your blanket statement or think the plot is a masterpiece, then there is nothing more to say.  You clearly only see what you want to see, which ironically is the very definition of willful ignorance itself.

Are you reading these posts backwards or something? He wasn't banned for voicing his opinions. He was banned for blatantly insulting and labeling other people who try to voice their opinions on this game, trying to drown out any sort of nuanced conversation about this title.

This game has been such a toxic conversation topic for that very reason, which is why there's never any truly civil discussion, and people keep making these threads wondering why it's so hated, or why it's seemingly died out. Most sensible people won't waste their time with it.

Well, i had mixed feeling about the game. While i think the negative attention was overblown, and i was pleased at its critical reception , I cant deny that IMO there wer issues in the game including THE DEATH and Abby.

I also think it detracted that it was telling three stories - Ellie, the war in Seattle, and Abby. For this reason I think it was not as perfect a game as the prev one and that will be reflected in sales and word of mouth.
