Thought Switch hardware would be higher

Around the Network

This is one of the rare times I expected more from the Switch ngl. However, Im sure the west will do far better with this since they care about Mario games way more.

I was expecting higher for Switch, like 150k or so but maybe stock was more focused towards other regions this week. Seems that only around a dozen weeks will be down this year which is very good.

Huh?

Super Smash Bros. at 383k LT? Is that right?

Also, good debut for Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

@Marth is it true the sell through was only 46% for the game or the Switch?

Mario 3D isn't nearly as popular in Japan. Hardware and All-Stars numbers are likely huge in the west.

Nintendo has about a 75% market share for hardware... before you factor in Switch sales.

FF16 rumoured to be 2021 as well.

PS5 has a strong JP lineup already compared to PS4/3:

FF16, SMM, Demons Souls, RE8, GT7, Ghostwire Tokyo.

Like I said, old games aren't system sellers. The extra stock has at least given Switch a lift by alleviating its supply constraints.

Switch to PS4 ratio hits 61:1 this week.

Wow, Seems the Japanese didn’t want to pay full price for 3 roms, those numbers are really low for a new switch release in Japan.
