Considering NPD of july and august had a jump of like 300% then depending on the reference that jump isn't much kkkk. But was there enough stock for the jump?

It's a 24 hour period.

So a 7 fold jump in sales over the previous day, coinciding with XSX pre-orders going live. Yeah definitely not a coincidence.

I feel pain from the ignorance years ago about Wii U. Why did Nintendo think that was a good name that wouldn't confused people? Why does Microsoft similarly NOT realize they are walking into the same realm of confusion?

I said this ages ago that the two sku Series S and series X will be the biggest confusion, people will drop the Series when discussing the console, same goes for the Xbox One S/X. So you have case where both console are being called xbox x.
