Forums - Sports Discussion - The NFL Thread 2020: Tampa Bay Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV

Rodgers reportedly wanting (stubbornly insisting, per some reports) out of Green Bay. Would be a huge shift in my own NFL fandom, if true...

Can't blame Rodgers for wanting to leave Green Bay they did a poor job with surrounding with enough talent to win titles. Both Rodgers and Favre should have had more Super Bowl titles. Although I'm rather glad Favre only got one since he is somewhat of an asshole in real life.

If we're being honest, a lot of reports indicate that Rodgers is also a bit of a dick. Still, if true, it would mean the Packers' Curse of 16 holds, and also that Jordan Love must last at least another 15 years in Green Bay.

Rodgers should have spoke up earlier he could have gone to the Rams instead of Stafford. The Rams are really the only team that somewhat has a chance of stopping Tampa Bay to get back to the Super Bowl in the NFC.

I dunno. It sounds like the Packers don't want to trade him within the NFC, and to be honest the Bucs don't exactly terrify. They're clearly a good team, but they're a far cry from invulnerable. The Packers fucked up a lot of stuff in their last game, and still had a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Nor were they alone in that.

I guess you didn't watch any playoff games the Bucs are the clear favorite to in NFC to make it to the Super Bowl again.  The Bucs got all their players back since they have no cap issues.  The Saints are going to be a lot worse due to cap issues and Brees retiring I doubt the Panthers or Falcons are going to be much better.  The Bucs will be better even with a harder schedule I'm guessing they will be 15-2.

That is... weird.  I wonder how many other teams have even had a single QB last for 16 years.

Looking how easy Tampa Bay's schedule is I up my prediction and say they will probably go 16-1. This is probably the easiest schedule every for a defending Super Bowl champion.
