There's articles in the front page with actual data reporting the last of us 2 is still number 1 best seller in multiple countries after 4 weeks and I wondered how come that poster with a male anime stripper and lady boys on his sign along with his compadre hasn't said a word about it then I see they're all in here hiding and gawking over photoshopped negative news from some random Asian online store.....smh.

People avoid news they disagree.

Why do you put so much focus on that?

It is like telling us being insecure about your sexuality in a gaming thread, reminds me of young gay people that have not come out of the closet yet but bit out of place here.

Why can they not make fun of fake images, they are not agreeing with them.

Hmmm your actually right, I should edit this out. Apologies to the person and anyone I might have offended.

Highly doubt "making fun" of fake images is really the motive here tho.

Japan Sales

The Last of Us PS3 - 129,983 FW,   235,571 LT
The Last of Us PS4 - 29,156 FW,     124,523 LT

The Last of Us Part 2 - 194,000 FW,  260,500 LT

Already outperformed the original game, and no doubt with a much higher digital sales ratio.

Since when is 260,500 more than 360,094?

Being happy or sad about game sales is... pretty sad. Being able to laugh a bit is pretty healthy in contrast.

Back to what's important, this game looks like it will sell very strong numbers. The first weekend sales are impressive.

This is a very niche game sales forum that is likely to draw individuals who are passionate about exactly that.

What a very odd comment, particularly given the context.

Why would you combine the sales of the standard and the remaster when making a comparison about the sequels performance to the original game? The remaster was released a year later on a system with no backwards compatibility, and no doubt received many sales from double dippers.

Use common sense.

Though if you want we can use your rules, because if TLOU2 gets a ps5 release too then that means TLOU2 will sell double the original game in Japan, wow what an incredible performance.

I know this doesn't fit your narrative of this game bombing so I'm sorry about that.

There's a difference between being interested in sales, and having it affect your happiness. It's not a weird comment if you realize the implications of the other posts.

What's weird is that you find my comment weird. That's pretty weird.

Sure, a spectrum of interest.

Some people would call posting on this website sad. Or having a video game hobby sad.

It's interesting to see where you draw a line.
