Don, I appreciate the effort, but I think you need a clearer, better methodology. It seems like a lot of titles are missing, and the definitions of "exclusive" and even "generation" a bit murky.

I accept suggestions.

Well unfortunately even the VGC database on sales is severely missing on sales data for most titles.

But I'll add any title that is exclusive and not crossgen pointed on the thread. I kept the console exclusive (that so far haven't had a release on another platform) because if I were to keep only full exclusives then I would have to exclude Microsoft as a whole.

Also Ratchet and Clank is a Remake of a game from the same Gen as the original Shadow of the Colossus. Also missing Gravity Rush 2 and MLB the Show games.

It seems a bit cherrypicky to compare sales/reception of 1st parties but do it in a way that skips BoTW and Mario Kart.

It doesn't bother me though. Switch being 8th gen means Sony won't have won a console race for 20-25 years.
