Lol, I hate the internet 

So a router looking box and fridge looking box are design choices for next gen consoles? Just lovely.

They're both fugly as sin. Honestly think I will just game on my PC early this gen, when they drop the prices and release a smaller, better looking design then I'll reconsider. 

I really feel like PS5 is more architectural than anything. Literally I have side by sides of it and modern architecture in my feeds.

Doesn't really matter. Everyone will get over it after a week or so. I remember with the ps3, ps4, I was admiring the blue light line, and the molecular lattice design. But that wowness wears off after a few days, and it just becomes a unit to power on and get to games/multimedia.

So you actually sit there staring at your consoles/pc admiring how cool it looks, instead of powering on and getting to the game?

As I look at it, I think it's really just the disk version that's ugly.  Symmetry is a good thing.

You know, an external HDD/SSD would probably fit perfectly under that raised right side...

Who needs a minimalistic stand when you've got so many games to store?

Maybe they should have made the physical version thicker on the bottom further across?

Maybe just enough space right beside the optical drive for an internal 2.5" HDD/SSD?

The design is really growing on me. I kind of liked it, but I'm loving it more and more.

It has me going back to it to have a second look, a third look, a fourth look etc.

It's simple but modern. It's clean and is aesthetically pleasing.

It has a Sci fi vibe and reminds me of the USS Enterprise due to the small part holding up the large part.
