Switch might be over 714k.
Benji says it beat Wii's 2008.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Awesome sales all around. And great to see FF7 killed it this month taking the number 1 spot and setting a franchise record.

Michael Pachter has confirmed actual unit sales of all three hardware.

NSW: 808,000
PS4: 411,000
XBO: 329,000
Where in the world is there even that many consoles at? My local stores haven’t been in stocked of any consoles in 2 months

I think VG algo under-tracked April more than March.
VGC
NSW 293,763
PS4: 259,426
XBO: 122,782
Actual
NSW: 808,000
PS4: 411,000
XBO: 329,000
So NSW and XBO are both under-tracked by 63% and PS4 by 37%. Is there too much influence from JP trend affecting the algo? I know that Nintendo intentionally prioritized US/EU stock over JP, so letting the JP trend affect US/EU estimates would create the exact opposite effect from Nintendo's intended result.

Thank you! I'll get to making the adjustments now. Safe to say VGChartz was too low on all three consoles. |
Yup! Crazy month. PS4 and XBO beat their own April record -PS4 2018 April was the current gen record at 326,000 when God of War launched. PS4 demolished that figure and then Switch doubled it lol.

That's pretty impressive! Wii was a monster back in 2009.
Signature goes here!
Wow this suddenly paints a completely different picture.
There must have been a lot of more Switch stock than expected if they're only down 200k compared to march. Now their 19 mil prediction for the fiscal year seems baffling honestly.
Absolutely insane that Xbox did 3x as much as last year. Lockdown has really changed the game.
