I don't mean to say they should be worried its just unusual for them to not have a huge game for the November/December period two years in a row, I'm guessing that it's likely due to New Horizon not hitting their preferred launch date and COVID probably delaying production of either Breath of the Wild or Splatoon 3 which were planned a few years ago to launch this fall.

1. They don't need them. At this point they have enough evergreens that as long as they have some decent AA games they will be fine each holiday period until Switch 2 comes out.

2. Wii U and 3ds both bombed out of the gate with pathetic launch titles. Switch had Botw and SM Odyssey within months of each other, within the first 7 months of Switch's life. Those are just the two biggest examples, but they in general had a lot more content for Switch launch window and had a lot more success because of it. Therefore, they are no doubt holding next ierations of certain games for Switch 2 if my prediction of Switch 2 coming out in 2023 is correct.

2 new entries tomorrow. Will Warioware or Metroid make an appearance?

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Kinda doubt Metroid will, it's not a popular franchise in Japan.

Zelda does a nice push towards the end.

How well did the original on the Wii do?

Over 194,000 first week and over 349,000 lifetime in Japan.

Both Shin-chan & Skyward Sword heading for big openings,

Skyward Sword HD should outsell the Wii version fairly easily, will likely end up over 500K in Japan lifetime(shipped+digital) - Breath of the Wild has really made Zelda much bigger in Japan compared to where it was as a franchise decade ago

Shin-chan is likely going to enable Neos to become a Top 10 Publisher on the Switch this year

Regular: 151pts
Limited Edition: 56pts

Weekly:
Regular: 236pts
Limited Edition: 63pts

Not bad considering the shrinking of COMG and the fact that it's just a HD remaster.

I know it's not that big but i thought it might get at least 5 preorders, that seems to be the minimum requirement to at least make an appearance in the top 20 :O

Forget about metroid, it has below zero relevance in japan. You have more chances in seeing Any cheap-ass Waifuu simulator among the top than metroid. thay are easilly able to have more sales than Dread (unfortunately).

And Skyward Sword trips at the finish line!
