I think you're looking at a map where Arizona is already claimed for Biden.

He's realistiacally at 253 electoral votes so he needs 17 more.

Nevada's only worth 6, so if he loses the rest, he won't get to 270.

He needs at minimum one of the following combinations:

Nevada + Arizona (270)
Nevada + Georgia (275)
Arizona + Georgia (280)
Pennsylvania (273)

Indeed I am. There are still 12 % of expected votes open and he leads with 68k votes. I am looking at Politico.com.

I suppose it is 90% likely that he wins it. Even if Trump closes in slowly.

Thing is, Biden already had a 130k lead in Arizona with an esimated 82% of ballots counted. ~300k ballots later, his lead dropped to sub 69k.

Kinda goes against dems being the “tolerant” political view. Try to focus on what can unite both sides instead of focusing on the hate. You can never have unity again if this mentality is the new norm.

I can assure you they are not lowering your quality of life. I’m sure your breakfast tastes the same and mattress is as soft as advertised ;)

Here's the difference though... aside from the double standard.

A random person on a message board is, in your estimation, treating the other side as "enemies", but the actual leadership of the parties, including its leader, is urging tolerance, respect, and unity.

On the other hand, the leadership of the republican party has spent four years vilifying anyone on the other side.

You can find individuals on either side that don't meet your standards of tolerance. But, if you look at the people who the parties are actually willing to vote for, you see why one side is labeled as intolerant.

Each political spectrum has different cultural and social values, different priorities. That’s what you ultimately vote for. If someone you don’t like is the only option, so be it, because it’s better then supporting the other side.

Italics: That’s nothing compared to Dems having media, and entertainment industry in their pocket vilifying conservatives every day for 4 years. Im seeing people in the media literally saying Cuban voters aren’t Latino because they voted Trump. That’s blatant intolerance of opinion.

Those are already 2 of the things you can do to improve voting.

Kill the electoral college.

Restrict and reverse gerrymandering.

Make voting day a holiday or at least a Sunday.

Register every citizen automatically.

Increase number of polling places.

All of those things combined would be an automatic 10% more voter turnout. And then you just have to fix that horrible 2 party system and the US is on a good path to become a democracy.

Gave this a like, 100% agree.

Seriously the fact that you even have to register to vote, as a citizen is nuts.

America loves to shout from the top of the mountains, about being "home of the free" and the last true democracy in the world and such.
Meanwhile.... most of the world looks on at the elections and election systems in the USA, and thinks "this is corrupt, silly and not very fair or democratic".
Your system could do with a make-over, theres tons of room for improvements.

In fact, I can remember when Bush Jr. touted that the US would bring democracy to the world. Most Europeans were thinking at the time "Who, you? Get your own democracy in order before trying to export it!" Or something around those lines. Especially ironic considering how he got elected in the first place...

Georgia update:

Give 2% of that to 3rd parties and Biden needs almost 70% of these ballots. If whatever is left in the red counties breaks even or favors Biden, he needs even less. But then provisionals and military absentees would determine the winner. Wow!

The second is not only factually sketchy, but completely dodging the point.

So, let's focus on that first part.

Yes, what you vote for is representative of your values.

So, while one person on a message board doesn't fit your standard of tolerance, on the whole, there's no evidence that the Democrats are willing to endorse the kind of divisiveness embodied by Trump and many other prominent members of the republican party.

Basically, what I'm saying is that if you hold "random person on internet forum" to such high standards, you should probably hold equally high standards for the fucking president of the United States, and you should perhaps question the "tolerance" of those willing to vote for him, as vigorously as you're questioning the tolerance of the random person on the internet.

That is, if tolerance of the other party is important to you. If it's not, then fine. Just don't be a hypocrite and invoke "tolerance" to try and shut down criticism of republicans if you're not going to hold republicans to the same standard.

Regardless who wins this, this shit is disgusting to me. It's like I'm back in my third world country where election tallies take weeks to process. For fuck's sakes Florida nailed it down on time. States like PA were saying they will be releasing results 6 days after the election. Also, stopping counting for long periods of hours just further annoys me.

I will maintain my stance and say that mail-in voting didn't help with maintaining integrity in this election. I don't care what other people say, I will die on this hill.

The law over counting mail-in varies by state. Florida allowed the count to start weeks ago. Pennsylvania, Michigan, and (I think) Wisconsin bar counting those ballots until election day, or even until polls close. And the Republican legislatures declined to change the law to ensure a faster count.

Assuming that's the case. It is still inexcusable that to no fucking end, they keep saying "Oh we found "x" more ballots. More coming in!" after saying there's only a certain number of ballots left. Majority of them, mail-in ballots. And it's pretty obvious where that will skew. This shit is happening across a lot of the current contested states and it's becoming really questionable. It's like they magically keep finding a sack of ballots under their sofa.

Who is saying that? I've been following PA and Georgia pretty dang closely and in both states, their announcements regarding the number of votes left to be counted has matched with the amount of votes counted since the last update. I haven't seen any significant shifts upwards.

What election official (not a right wing propagandist) is saying they 'found' new ballots?

Great thread debunking the nonsense on social media, one lie at a time:

Apparently the Democrats have a secret hide-out under a french bakery somewhere in Pittsburg, where kidnapped Canadian tourists are working 24/7 printing new ballots.

True story.
