. Dems are increasingly moving towards Socialism. Reps are pro capitalism, which is why Florida went Trump because many are from Cuba and Venezuela which are terrible socialist examples.

The policies most Democrats stands for are very far from socialism. They are closer to economic policies we see across western Europe

Socialism stands for giving the economic agents and production resources to state. It means state will have the last say in every company, can define fixed prices and other rules. This has been historically proven as a bad economic policy, as the market is just more efficient regulating itself

Defending strong public systems for healthcare, schooling, social security and welfare among others is not socialism.

I don't see why government spending on healthcare is a socialist policy, when the same government spending in army and military affairs is displayed as capitalist

Which is just plain sad considering how far apart the polls were.  So much for fixing the polls from 2016, if anything, there was an even bigger error this year...

The error is in the election process, not the polls.

Because war is inherently anti-social, duh.

CNN just called Michigan for Joe Biden.

No outlet has called both Arizona and Nevada for Biden, but those get Biden to 270 and the presidency.

Standing by.

Gap Wars
Pennsylvania: 315k
Georgia: 76k

Biden is gaining ground, question is if there are enough votes left to catch up.

Next Pennsylvania batch in (roughly 59k).

Biden's share was 75% (44k) this time. Still on track.

Is it though? The popular vote gap is already 3m, which is on par with the last election. And this time the person with the most votes might actually win!

I think PAOerfulone is referring to the electoral vote, not the popular vote.

Bush 2004 actually had a very narrow EC win too. Biden will probably end above him.

Also, Nate Cohn thinks PA won't be especially close (in Biden's favor) once all votes are in.

He shouldn't. Nobody should.
