I'll either get the Series X, or build myself a PC. I haven't decided yet.

Until LoD Remake releases

Unlike you, my friend, I've long given up on the prospect of any new LoD game.

PS5 $400. Flops are literally meaningless to a consumer and mostly meaningless to a developer as well.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

As a PC gamer, PS5. For the exclusive games you can't find anywhere else.

And I don't care for specs for consoles, I just leave that for avid fans :P

If an additional gaming PC is allowed: PS5 (but that's a bit of cheating)

If an additional gaming PC ain't allowed: probably Xbox Series X.

Series X.

Unecessary question, even when being able to pick 2 I would still choose PS5 until Xbox have enough IPs that I want to play.

An upgrade to my PC.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I wanted to pose a "hypothetical" or "what-if" situation where in the near future would could see 3 consoles.

1) Xbox Series X, 12,1 Tflop (4k), 3,6ghz cpu, 1TB ssd ~600$

2) Playstation 5, "upto" 10,3 Tflops (4k), "upto" 3,5Ghz cpu, 825GB SSD. ~500$

3) Xbox Series Y (lockhart), 4+ Tflops (1080p gameing), 3,6ghz cpu, 1TB ssd ~400$

Which of the 3 are you getting? if you could only pick one?

Ha. Joke's on this poll, I'm getting the PSVR 2 !!

Can't help but wonder if the jokes on me, actually. If so, it's a half decent burn. Let's see based on the potential response.

PS5. As long as XB exclusives remain on PC, even if it's not day 1, I'll just upgrade my PC to play them. It should only cost about the same as Lockhart anyway and I'll have just as good, if not better performance, plus a PC.

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

whats the point of releasing a weaker console than the Xbox one X for a higher price. Lockhart has to be at leat a bit more powerfull than xbox one X

If series y comes with a 4k drive at that price I'll take it. Otherwise PS5.
