Cyberpunk 2077

What. . Yall know it will be fucking amazing

Its between Horizon and For Honor. Cyberpunk will probably beat them both handily

Splatoon. I suspect it's the IP that will still be going strong 20 years from now.

Dunno about that. Shooters are the most fad heavy genre and change so often. How quickly we went from Military FPS to Hero Shooter to Battle Royal in popularity. RPGs tend to not wave much. Same with fighting games. Splatoon will have to rapidly evolve by 3 to not become stale already. Splatoon 3 will need to be much larger in the scope of changes. Splatoon 2 was an incremental one. So unless Nintendo can keep up I can see Splatoon burning out fairly quickly.

Personally. Since the series already has a heavy Jet Set Radio vibe. I'd like to see a spinoff. Single player. Semi open Splatoon world with a similar concept as JSR.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Initial thought was, I can't think of many new ip's...Yookah Laylee series! Read the first post, oh yeah Horizon Zero Dawn all the way. A new ip that got way too much hate was Days Gone, such and underrated and fun game.

Hollow Knight
Horizon
Ori
Astro Bot

Hellblade also deserves a nod I feel.

One of the most powerful gaming experiences I've ever had, combining superb gameplay, incredible storytelling, and a potent atmosphere into one of the most unforgettable games I've ever played.

Off the top of my head, Sunset Overdrive was great and refreshing. Maybe not THE BEST, but certainly unique.

Its kinda the same reason I really enjoyed KI. It just felt fresh.

Undertale
Starbound

2 out of those 3 games I've been playing more and more of over the years, one of which was made better thanks to the modding community.
