Since people keep throwing around Cyberpunk day one for Game Pass, I have to wonder what the point would be if it's still just the current-gen Xbox One version, and this is meant to hype people up for the next-gen launch.

I feel like marketing-wise, it makes more sense to try and push for the next-gen version of Cyberpunk earlier on Xbox, while having marketing and gameplay demos showcasing it early as this year.

Cyberpunk is a game that's going to look noticeably held back by the current-gen, so if you can have a version looking (and likely playing) a lot better, exclusive to Xbox for some time, while also showcasing how next-gen can look/play, that'd make a lot more sense to me.

That'll combine with the fact that people can still buy the current-gen version this November, then get the free upgrade possibly a few short months later. An immediate display on the benefits of Smart Delivery.

How I wish MSFT revived Cavia. That studio was amazeballs.

Also, InXile's NO office reminds me of a cheap budget hotel I stayed at when I was visiting Shanghai, down to the garish decor inside.

Lol 2 billion. Bungie is worth 1 billion tops imo.

For $2 billion, you're not getting shit for independence lol. That's the price if there's no more Destiny support for PS, and all future Bungie games are Xbox/PC only.

Sooo didn't MS say that they are changing the name of xCloud?
Considering it's officially releasing tomorrow on Android, what's the new name?

Love the hidden easter eggs between games (Wasteland 3, Gears lancer).

Thanks @QUAKECore89

As fun as SR4 was, there was no way they could continue that way. There was nothing to add to make the experience more fun or even more crazy. You already were the most powerful being in the universe. Gat out of Hell added flying which was cool but that was it.

Not as bad as I feared, but still quite disappointing. Saints without super-powers isn't half as fun, I've said it before but Saints Row 4 is the best superpower game I've ever played, 3 had ok gameplay but wasn't nearly as fun without the powers. And it says that the tone is between 1+2 and 3, which is just not enough of a humor focus for me, needs to be full on humor like 3 and 4. Not sure how I feel about that storyline either, the new characters better be well designed or people will be pissed about what they did with the old characters. I'm glad that they're aiming for more realism on graphics though.

I read through that leak, and I call BS. Can't see them ditching the comical angle going forward. It's what sets their games apart from just being a low budget GTA knock off.

Pete Parsons denied Bungie acquisition rumors. That’s that. Also, Mike Ybarra is a clown.
Before I get Bungie for that price, I’d get half of Poland; I’d make a studio in Korea, acquire Asobo, Larian Studios or Crytek.
