Market Gears Tactics and Flight Sim if they are coming to the Series X at launch.

This.

Gears Tactics and Flight Sim would be great launch titles, quality wise.
Sales wise, they'd be a bit niche on consoles.
But at least it'll be something, although I have my doubts Flight Sim can be ported that fast.

Well, most people have never really seen what Flight Simulator can really do. Announce FS with Mod Support and the fanfare you can muster and you'd have a good enough replacement for H6.

1. It was releasing very close to 2 other games I want to play, Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla.
2. It badly needs the extra time to fix the graphics, this is a generation spanning Halo, they can't release a game with those graphics and expect people to be happy with those graphics still in 2025 or 2026.
3. Xbox's 2021 lineup was lacking in AAA exclusives, with nothing but a possible Forza Horzion 5 release, the rest are smaller AA or A games like Flight Sim console port, Call of the Sea, The Ascent, Scorn, Second Extinction. Sony was probably going to mop the floor with them in 2021 with likely/possible releases for FF16 (insiders are saying it will release surprisingly soon), Horizon: Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clack Rift Apart, Demons Souls Remake, Ghostwire Tokyo, and Returnal in 2021. Adding Halo to their 2021 lineup alongside Forza Horizon 5 and the smaller games helps Xbox prospects in 2021 tremendously. In other words, 2021 needed Halo more, from a business sense, than 2020 did, as Xbox Series is most likely going to sell out in 2020 anyway even without Halo, considering Xbox One was selling out in 2013 in spite of all of the issues Xbox had at the time due to the reveal backlash. |
Speaking of which, if still possible, I'd moneyhat FFXVI and if doable, Attia, away from PS5. I'm not saying moneyhat into Xbox so much as actually pay to rescind the clause giving Sony timed exclusivity. However, if the ink is dry this might be hard. They will need to join forces with CDPR and get marketing rights to CPNK if they want to have a decent launch.
Even then, there's also the Halo beta. I'd strongly recommend doing this, and bundling three weeks of GP with Series X.
