Man, a 20th anniversary seems like something that they should have had a remaster or remake ready for. Xbox badly needs to get some studios dedicated to remasters and remakes, so many gems in Xbox's library of old games that need remasters and remakes.

There is the off chance that a remaster/remake could be announced at the showcase :)

Finished The Wild at Heart.

Surprisingly good game. Reminds me a lot of Pikmin (which I haven't really played).

Game is nice to look at and has some decent puzzles. It's not really difficult though and while it has lots of crafting materials to collect, there's little point in crafting. Length is also quite decent for an indie game. Got my 1000G after 11 hours.

I played it because it was added to Game Pass almost exactly one year ago. I'd definitely recommend it but make sure to play it quickly as it might get removed at the end of May.

8/10.

Yeah if every studio has something to show a second event needs to be in the works.

I'm watching it now. Only just finished the Eunited v optic series because Australia time.

How could anyone let Embracer steal all that for so low? Both Sony and MS looking dumb because Sony literally paid 250 million for Insomniac alone.

This doesn’t bode well for those hoping that MS will go after WB, Crystal we’re working on a 1st party IP and MS from what it appears didn’t even make a bid. 300 million would have been nothing and I doubt that the governing bodies would have made a stink for that amount.

Square Enix are run by morons.

Lol Square also just shat on WBs internal evaluation of their studios as well, 300 Million for 4 IP and two big studios for only that amount.

All those WB studios will likely it be worth less than 1 billion without those IP’s now.

Aww not Sara Stern.....she was a huge part of Infinite's video marketing.

I remember in the livestreams prior to launch, when it came to the Academy portion, she was the one going over it with Ske7ch, but she had bags of bags under her eyes poor lady had probably worked 36 hours straight leading up to that livestream.

I hate 343 keeps losing senior multiplayer leadership. I know Aaron French is still there but I need to rewatch the multiplayer overview video and look at the names of everyone that interviewed to see who is actually still left now lol

Yeah, 343 has lost quite a few senior employees lately and they have quite a few job positions opened for senior roles still, even one for live service director, Lol. It's a bit concerning but I'm not surprised, I suspect a lot of these departures are frankly burnt out, I posted here a few months ago someone from 343 in their Linkedin saying he led the teams through, what was it, like 16 months of crunch? Something around that.

It's likely a reason why you keep seeing Joe bang on about team health, he doesn't want to burn out anymore employees, I know the content wait is frustrating but I don't imagine 343 is a very desirable place to work at right now and if Joe starts crunching them to get content out then you'll see even more departures and delays.

Hopefully her leaving doesn't set things back too much because I know all maps have to work with bots before they release and she is responsible for bots and we know bots will play a big part in Battle Royale, hopefully the tech is already in place for Certain Affinity to just adapt.

Do you mean Tom French? I like him a lot too, Forge was amazing thanks to him, mechanically the multiplayer is brilliant too, we just need the content!

Doesn't seem like Joe s crunching them since the next season is 6months.  So basically until they fill out their roles or expand more, 6 months looks like it will be what it is for a while.

I really do not think MS can make a move right now, they need to first secure FTC approval of Acti/Bliz first before trying to move on anything else. Timing wise Embracer was ready while everyone else is in another place or just not interested.

That^ And this is very unfortunate, the timing sucks. Microsoft cannot do anything about it.

And well, probably better with Embracer anyway than Sony or even Square; at the end it may be a good thing... But having those on GamePass would have been a blast.

The new Tomb Raiders is what made me love the game (did not like the old ones).

And Deus Ex.. Well it is Deus Ex, what not to love from the start :)

Good get by Embracer! They now my second preference in buying a studio. What a steal. SE has to be a complete shit show right now to sell to that price. Hope Sony nabs Final Fantasy, I mean SE by the end of the gen.

Now I'm doubting this WB news at all lol. If MS wasn't in the discussion for that, then I doubt they going after WB at all.
