Well, I'm certainly highly interested in Elden Ring thanks to its high reviews. The only Souls-like game I've beaten is Demon's Souls Remake and I quite enjoyed that game. I'll probably pick up Elden Ring before too long.

My pimp Noble fell for the fomo. :/

MAN, I said I'd pick it up "before long" no fomo here mate.

Watched some gameplay of Elden Ring... Just doesn't look like it's for me. Slow af, tanky, dodge dodge, hit, jump slash. Don't have the patience for that. Seems like if you're a DS fan though, it's probably a dream come true, open world and monsters looks amazing as well.

Greenburg says that Xbox is the market leader in Colombia. Doesn't surprise me really, Series S is a great value proposition and Sony is having major supply issues.

Xbox has been the market leader in quite a few countries in the Americas. Last gen the XBO was the market leader in many South American countries and the market leader in Mexico while being competitive in Canada and the US.

This would definitely help game pass subscriptions!

Just finished my first ever trek through the Mass Effect trilogy, thanks to the Legendary Edition coming to Game Pass. It won't come as a surprise that I thought it was fantastic. Even after 100+ hours, I'm eager to get back in and play through it with different decisions. My first run was as Paragon male Shep, and I've already started a fem Shep run, planning to take many more Renegade choices.

I've also started a new game that came to Game Pass recently called Infernax that I'm also liking a lot.  It's a 2D side-scrolling game similar to NES era Castlevania games, but more like II than I or III because it has Metroidvania vibes to it, with freedom to go in multiple directions.

You made the right call. FemShep is way better as renegade, whereas male Shepard is very much suited to paragon.

You know, the movement and combat in Elden Ring is Dark Souls but bosses are pure Sekiro. After close to 30hrs I can say it's not as challenging as Sekiro but it puts every other souls title to shame in that department.

Yeah, that doesn't make me very hopeful about ever being able to play this game, considering I got hit a brick wall on both of Sekiro's timelines that wouldn't let me progress no matter how many times I threw myself at them.

I heard something about an OP mage build with a rock spell that staggers enemies constantly making Elden Ring much easier, but knowing my luck, by the time the game hits $20 or comes to Gamepass From will have already nerfed that build via a patch.

Having put over 30 hours into the game at this point, I would say this game is honestly not for anyone who's already bounced off FromSoft's Soul games. It's a fantastic game, of epic scope, but it's DNA is Souls through and through. Hell, this game is basically like 3-4 Souls games stapled together with an overworld. These games aren't for everyone. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm gonna get Elden Ring next month. I've never given a souls game a real chance so I'm excited play this one. It looks too good to pass up.

Naw, the mechanics for fighting in Elden Ring is still Dark Souls.  If you come from a Souls background then you will be right at home.  There is none of that posture mechanic like Sekiro in this game where its a must that you get the parry system down.  While you do have a parry system in Elden Ring, its still just like Dark Souls and the timing is the same.

As far as design is concerned there is a mixture of all the souls game in Elden Ring from Dark, to Sekiro and also BloodBorne.
