Man Crossfire is like… shockingly bad. The MP is incredibly shitty, lacking any sort of personality or balance. It’s basically like a knock off F2P mobile Counter-Strike clone, which I guess is exactly what it is in Korea or wherever it’s popular.

Well no,  what is shocking   Crossfire =/= crossfire X.  Crossfire is a game that released midend of the 2000's.   I had fun with the game because it is huge and has a lot of stuff to do so I was looking forward to crossfire x.  But crossfire X is honestly a shamefull port with only a handfull of maps while the original game had 10 free maps a year (boosting around a +100 maps at the moment) with a ton more modes.

The beta from crossfire X I played in 2020 was better than the version we got now at release.

Also the mobile version is something else.

This footage was from some game event in Asia, maybe TGS but it showed off more of the Game World,  when you see actual size of the game you can start to see why they had trouble getting it running on Xbox One.

There is not a single Xbox 1st party game that is on that Scale or Scope (no pun intended) that was being made for the XB1 it was incredibly ambitious. The Co-Op can stay if they revive it because that is the way it was pitched from the start by PlatinumGames and Kamiya wanted it that way.

Don't think it was ever mentionned that they had issues because of the Xbox One; they are games that looks way bigger and runs no problem on the original Xbox One (just take the open world Assassin's Creed, Dying Light, Final Fantasy 15, etc...). This thing does not look bigger at all to me (and I always found it a bit super par in term of graphics too, it looks ugly to me, not that video specifically with compression but any they showed in the past was not looking so good)

Game looks like a Monster Hunter / Xenoblade Chronicles more than anything in term of graphic/scales which both runs on Xbox One no problem and Switch.

The issues had nothing to do with the hardware but really with the project itself and missing deadlines after deadlines.

1. Redfall - I trust Arkane, and I love co-op games. Brutal row for me, but I'll take this one on faith.

2. Fable - Easiest row, by far. I've been wanting Fable back forever.

3. Starfield - Another tough choice, but I'll lean sci-fi over fantasy here, cus fantasy is more saturated at this point.

4. Avowed - This is our first real taste of what Obsidian can do under MS. I have high expectations.

5. Perfect Dark - Amidst all their acquisitions, this is the only thing MS formed a new studio for. Staffed with nothing but top tier talent no less. Then they went ahead and hired outside AAA devs to do "grunt" work for them. I have the sense that this game will either be absolutely phenomenal, or a colossal disappointment, and I'm dying to see what it's gonna be.

Row 1 - Redfall. Tough row, interested in all four other games.

Row 2 - Fable. Probably the easiest rows.

Row 3 - Starfield. I am also very interested in TES, but Starfield could be TES in space.

Row 4 - Avowed. A tough row just because Plague Tale Requiem is also very high for me.

Row 5 - SoD3. I have bought the first two day one and not been disappointed. Have high hopes for State of Decay 3.

Outer World 2 - I just love Fallout and this is Fallout in space :) The first one was amazing for a AA games.

Fable - Not even close...

Starfield - But gosh this is a very tought one... Diablo 4 and ES 6 are equaly high in my mind :) Starfield is coming out this year tho, so the hype will build up like crazy until nov.

Avowed - Easy pick, Obsidian takes on ES genre is something I'm lookling for, I hope that early 2023 date is real :)

Perfect Dark - I'll be honest, NEVER player the original games but based on the trailer they showed and the team working on it, I'm very excited about this one.

So we know that Facebook and EA were two of those but EA's was a merger, as for the other two, I'm assuming those were Tencent and Amazon, I think we can rule out Google making any big plays in the market at this stage and Activision-Blizzard would be too much for Sony unless sold piecemeal. Maybe Apple could be one of them for the mobile market, I also think if Tencent even tried to acquire them it would have been blocked by regulators.

I'm curious who that "1 individual" is who is rich enough to take over Activision-Blizzard, Lol.

Elon Musk.

Confirmed we will see Chief's face in the show (adult Chief) but that's no surprise at all.

Disappointing, but not surprising. The Mandalorian couldn't even make it one season without showing off the face of their protagonist who was creed bound to never remove his helmet, Master Chief stood no chance, he isn't even creed bound, it's just an unspoken rule of the series that his face is only ever supposed to be teased, never fully shown.

Mandalorian showed it to a Droid, not a living being so he didn't break creed.

In the game series, but this isn't the game. This version of Chief isn't lore, so lore Chief is still unknown. It's not like we don't know what Chief will look like with his helmet off, look up the IMBD lol.
