I was able to squeeze in 2 BTBs after playing through the tutorial and playing with customizations. First was a slayer, 2nd was capture the flag. Got wrecked both times. Will hit it hard tomorrow after some rest and maps research.

I've never been much of a Halo multiplayer fan, but after a handful of matches this is so much fun! Smooth as buttcheeks. And I don't suck as much as I did in Halo 3, at least not on quickplay.

This should never return, Lol. It's awful, folk always vote for the same map over and over again and then it makes you grow sick of maps you once liked.

I think the better alternative is the one use veto system, the lobby can only veto one map, per match, then it randomly picks another, for the most part I prefer the randomness, I really don't want map voting to ever return.

I'm enjoying the multiplayer a lot. Gunplay is top notch, maps are great, modes are fun, and weapons feel balanced and powerful. They do need to fix the progression system because some amount of xp should be earned after each match. I'm not even really bothered by the slow xp because the weekly challenges xp increases as you complete more of them and makes it not as much of a slog. I think they will make play list for different modes available soon but they want everyone to get a taste of all the different game types, which is good.


I really hope they are holding back the 3 maps for December 8th launch because only 10 maps for 6 months is going to get old eventually. If forge and a custom games browser were available at launch, I wouldn't mind it as much, but we don't have those yet.

Do ghosts and choppers have a boost on them? feels weird not have it.

Would seem Halo is still a massively USA centric franchise. While everyone in the USA is at work/school the game has dropped all the way to 10th on steam current players. Judging by how low current is compared to peak and in comparison to the other games on the list it seems Europe/Asia just aren't that interested in it, at least compared to USA.

Yeah I'm typically the kind of person that only plays deathmatch. Only had time for a couple of games last night but my first was CTF and I was a bit perturbed. But then I scored 2/3 points for our team and won the match so I was slightly less upset by the playlists.

The only real issues I have with the game at the moment are lack of playlists and a horrifying microtransaction store. $20/£16 for some armour.... day one in open beta.



Well..fuck.

I can't play Infinite at all unless I join someone's game. Every "play" option is greyed out for some reason, restarting the game or console didn't help. I'll try to install it again. Also filed a ticket on Waypoint.

Not cool. Hope they'll fix it soon.
