As far as the games listed, Gears 2 would be my top choice, but I picked other. I would love to see Enslaved remastered. One of the underrated gems of last gen.

Lost Odyssey Remake.
With some little gameplay changes and some extra content we can have a better "Final fantasy" than Squarenix can do.

Sorry for my bad english.

Sakaguchi is Final Fantasy, so that makes sense...

Voted for New Vegas. Keep hearing how amazing it is, would love to see that remade. And agreed Ryuu, MS needs a remaster studio.
Asobo
Techland
Remaster Studio
IO Interactive
Done.
If MS is bored maybe throw in WB.

Asobo. I'm thinking their announcement might be they are now an MS studio.

Outer Worlds is a space western and very Victorian at it. Does everyone just want the setting of their games to end in punk?
What we have not had in a while is a contemporarypunk shooter, with a quality writing, like Spec Ops: The Line.
InXile most likely will dabble on the theme they know best, post apocalyptic. Even though Ryuu likes to say that Wasteland is a copy of Fallout, it really isn’t; from tone of their world to squad based style of gameplay in Wasteland series, they differ.

Seems like it. I just want a futuristic or modern day game that isn't gun/melee/underworld focused. Why is urban fantasy so hard to make a game for when it's essentially "GTA with swords and unicorns"?!

Like, I really want a Percy Jackson, RWBY or Night Watch RPG...

I want a very low-tech space western game personally. Lower case space, upper case WESTERN, if you know what I mean. Something more like Firefly where the technology level is very low outside of of the core planets, with lots of lawlessness on the frontier planets, and grounded, realistic, low tech weapons. I also want proper space combat options, bounty missions, ship customization, detailed character customization, and more in said game. Always dreamed of making that game myself, but I'm no AAA dev, and it would take a AAA budget to do it properly.

Maybe Starfield will be more like what I want, but I doubt it, it sounds more like it will be based on our real world timeline, except 50 or so years in the future when we first master long range interplanetary travel and start colonization efforts on planets outside of our solar system. It'll be low tech sci-fi, but without the western elements I think.

So Cowboy Bebop then...

Out of curiosity, what kind of setting would RWBY's Remnant be? I always liked that kind of "semi Victorian but with modern technology" aesthetic.

I vote for a reboot or remake of Skies of Arcadia with a Sega partnership.

It was Britain, it is America, tomorrow France and next year, the world...

Warning: This poster has a very negative opinion of Sony and Nintendo, Idea Factory and companies Tecmo Koei, EA, BioWare, Blizzard, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Kadokawa and Sega. If you have very positive views of these and a negative view of Microsoft or Bethesda Game Studios, AVOID ENGAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS!

Hey guys I never bought a console on release date, always like 6 months-12 months after release as it was impossible to find in my home country.
I now live in UK. I know that there are no pre orders available anymore. On release day, do they also send units for retailers that are not linked to pre orders or basically if you dont get a pre order you dont get a console? Looking to get an Xbox Series X or maybe a Series S.

Yes there should be units in store and potentially on websites on the 10th November. Aaron Greenberg said that shops could sell their allocation through pre-orders or leave some stock for launch day of which he said most have currently done but the Stock could be low as in only a few of each the X|S per store.

Xbox doesn't have any Steampunk or Cyberpunk titles which are vastly different from any other RPG settings they have.

Avowed and Elder Scrolls will get compared, it's unavoidable, both also will have a focus on sword fighting while being in the old age fantasy setting. The Outer Worlds is Space/Sci-Fi and basically Fallout in space. Feels like Starfield will be a more modern day grounded Sci-Fi.

I'm not saying Wasteland is a copy of Fallout but Fallout is literally a spiritual successor to Wasteland, there will be comparisons made and Fallout did used to be a turn based isometric title like Wasteland, if Wasteland follows the same trajectory as Fallout meaning going from isometric to ARPG 3rd Person there will be even more comparisons made, it will be inevitable and there will be similarities, the main one being they're both post-apocalyptic settings caused by a nuclear holocaust.

That squad based gameplay will get dumbed down for an ARPG and it'll be almost no different than recruiting companions in Fallout. InXile doing Steampunk Fantasy or Cyberpunk will differentiate themselves completely from other RPGs Xbox is creating, which will provide us with more variety.

Halo 3 would be cool but idk if they should do a stand-alone game. Have blur do the cutscenes, add the campaign and multiplayer to MCC, have the ability to switch between classic and remaster like CE and 2. But for the love of god do ALL halo 3 mp maps and have them play true to the original.

I don't think it should be standalone, make it a huge update to MCC.

    Halo 3 > Oblivion > Morrowind > Fable II > Gears 2 > Banjo-Kazooie > Fallout 3 > Lost Odyssey > New Vegas

And people have the nerve to complain about Halo infinite's graphics. They should count their blessings lol

Halo 3 also received a huge downgrade from the trailers to the actual game...

Starfield definitely looks modern day from the leaked pictures, I'm thinking something like The Expanse (which is an amazing show, but I don't know how it would work as a game).

Quantum Break winning. Time to call up Remedy and make a deal for a sequel, or at least a QB DLC for Control 2.

    Voted Killer Instinct.

Typically, yeah, they'll reserve some units for physical locations at launch, I believe Aaron confirmed it too.

There is another RWBY game in development, but I'm not sure what genre it is.

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop and Firefly have somewhat similar settings, both are the kind of low-tech space western that I love. On that subject, now would be a good time to make a Cowboy Bebop game, with Netflix working on a live action adaptation of it that is expected to be very popular.

RWBY setting is kind of unique. There are steampunk elements for sure, like the semi-Victorian clothing styles of some characters, the airships, and Qrow's transforming clockwork sword/scythe. But there are also modern and modern-futuristic elements as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do a non-preorder restock at release or shortly afterwards. There will definitely be a restock within a few weeks of release, especially for Series S units since MS will be expecting those to fly off the shelves as the Holiday shopping season goes into full swing, due to the attractiveness of the lower price tag with parents and grandparents looking for Christmas presents.

I'd expect weekly or stock every fortnight after launch MS are going to be flying in fresh off the production lines like Sony(we had confirmation of this) are and Nintendo did with the Switch then after Christmas let the supply stabilise as they get a supply chain going through sea transportation. Using air transportation isn't cheap though and with the Switch it estimated it to as $40-50 on every unit.
