I will tell you why the nerfed the bank interest. Have real life friend that took advantage of that. He made bunch of alt characters deposited money in their accounts and went time traveling. I believe he could make few million bells in matter of mins. It took him longer collecting it than making it. I of course will not accept any money from his ass. Told him not rush to make money or pay off house cause summmer beetle hunting. He of course is all about making money quick so I'm glad Nintendo nerfed it cause he was abusing it.

That's pretty petty lol.

Also we still haven't met up, but that's mostly my fault. I haven't been playing the game as much and when I do it's usually without internet access. My town being the suck and me being ashamed to show it off might also be a part of it. For real tho, I'm still only at 4-star rating.

For myself i do not really care what others do in their single player game,it does not effect my playthrough and it does not hurt Nintendo.

I’m a little bit surprised that Nintendo hasn’t revamped the turnip system from old games. Markets shouldn’t be locally controlled, it should be a bonus feature of Nintendo online and governed from there. That would help to get rid of a ton of exploiting.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Time travelers would still have the advantage, being able to wait until there's a good turnip price before buying. Also, so what if people do that on their game, Animal Crossing ain't competitive. If you don't like the exploits you can simply not use them.

Yea it's isn't that big of deal. He was so focused on money that it took him even longer to get 5 star.  Then when he got five star he was so jealous of my town layout (I actually planned most my layout instead of putting things randomly) that he spent the last week terraforming his town.  I believe he is almost done now.  Lol

My buddy lives in Australia. I live in Canada. I was able to go to my Aussie friend's place when it was Sunday, brought them back to my place on Saturday, then sold at my buddy's place for 593.

Each cycle of that won us 2.3 million. I made 17.5 million before Aussie guy's turnip lady left.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Wow 17 million. Had a pretty big payout for one day. I'm still little poor compared to some but I'll get there eventually.

got the game at launch and still with a very basic island. i am always make a loss with turnips so far, and never made more than 200k bell in a day ahahah.

Switch!!!

Do you even need more than 10M bells?
I am at 12-13 atm and don't really see what needs this much money.

My house is already done and I moved a lot of buildings around and built many bridges and slopes.

Gracie furniture in previous games was very expensive.  No word on Gracie yet though.

Also, you can always create more alt characters and expand their houses.  I usually do that when run out of space.  That way can show off sets in other alt character houses.
