Zuckerberg and his wife recommended some hires to the Buttigieg campaign early this year and the campaign ended up hiring 2 of the people recommended.https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-21/zuckerberg-offered-advice-in-hiring-to-buttigieg-in-rare-move

That is pretty nauseating, to be honest. Buttigieg just plummeted in my preferences. Fucker should just drop out now, he's wasting time and money and only dividing people, he has no further reason to run at this point. At least Gabbard is representing a specific viewpoint. Buttigieg is just boosting his profile, when he's only a mayor, so he really should drop and run for a statewide Indiana office or something. He's just embarrassing himself now.

Yeah I don't like how establisment he is even though I agree with a lot of his policies. This just rubs me the wrong way.

But I doubt he will drop since he one of the top Democrats when it comes to fundraising and his poll number have been going up in some early primary states like Iowa, and SC.

There are solid rumors Trump isn't going to participate in any debate during the presidential elections. Take the implications of that as you will. Personally, I think it'd be a boon for those who aren't particularly good at debating, like Biden or O'Rourke.

Also, Canadian election results coming in, slightly better than expected for Trudeau so far. So, by the looks of it, both Canada and Bolivia kept their left-wing governments today.

Do the House seats only get elected in the midterms?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I realize that this is kind of a low blow, but Beto and Buttigieg came off like the dorky white prep-school students on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. A couple of white Carltons who never quite answered questions directly but instead threw out whatever rehearsed talking point best matched.

It's kind of difficult to see Beto or Buttigieg as being very intelligent or having any kind of common sense whatsoever. I feel like they are the sort best suited to serving coffee to yuppies in a 1980s New York City investment firm's board room.

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks Pete Buttigieg is a massive dork.

House seats is every 2 years. That includes Presidential years.

Yeah, it is quite obvious that Buttigieg is one of the candidates that will stay in the race at least until Iowa. He has no money pressures to drop out.

No, all house seats and a third of the senate is reelected together with the president.

My bad.. It's actually 20%. I retract 30% of it XD

I'm going to offer you a second chance to back up your statement or retract it.   You're a good participant in here.  Your not a S***** and I don't want to have to tear that link down.  I'd rather you looked into it again on your own and learned the real details than right here in front of everyone.  The-pi-guy already gave you a great place to start.  Keep in mind that even Fox has had to admit they were wrong on this (except Hannity...that guy will take lies to the grave with him).

As for the David Duke / Gabbard endorsement...can we just stop with treating this like a valid endorsement?  It's so full of bullshit my nitrate sensor broke. The SOLE purpose of this endorsement is being played out right here in this thread.  Division, discord and all around trolling for the LOLZ.

If the 20% supply specifically has been thoroughly debunked then fair enough I stand corrected. Not really in the mood to do a research project rn as I've been writing for like 7 hours today haha. Maybe I'm hearing from outdated info as I haven't really kept up on the Hillary stuff since 2016. But there are certainly other connections when it comes to Russian dealings, Uranium One, and the Clinton Foundation that are seemingly completely verified. Not that I really care - just calling out the hypocrisy and the irony of the politician accusing others of what she and her husband are seemingly guilty of in one form or another:

https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2015/apr/26/peter-schweizer/fact-checking-clinton-cash-author-claim-about-bill/

I must say though I can't help but wonder why is the Hillary connection is called out and in need of backing up (when there does seem to be some evidence), meanwhile a number of people here have called Gabbard a "Russian plant" or whatever with less than *zero* proof yet these apparently don't need backing up?

Anyway: Noticed the Bern man finally gave his support for Tulsi on twitter. I knew I still liked this guy! Probably still a third choice for me after Yang but definitely moved up in my book. We now have out of the candidates - Bernie, Marriane, Yang, and even Beto (who I don't care for but respect the statement), in addition to Nina Turner speaking in support of Gabbard. Safe to say this smear backfired in Hillary's face ha.

Also Pete Buttigieg chimes in:

"I don't know what the basis is for that," he said. "But I consider her to be a competitor. I respect her service. I also have very different views than she does, especially on foreign policy, and I would prefer to have that argument in terms of policy which is what we do at debates and what we're doing as we go forward."
I think Buttigieg is right here. You can have a disagreement on policy, but still avoid crazy conspiracy theories.
And here is Marianne Williamsons tweet:
Hillary Clinton clearly overstepped a line here with this conspiracy-stuff and shows clearly that she plays in a similar league as Donald Trump. The Democrats should stand above that and fight over policies, but not with lies, smears and conspiracy theories.
