Prior to this 8.2M announcement when was the last one from nintendo and do you have any idea what it was?

So PS4 is doomed? Again?

Does anyone know off hand the total sales YTD NPD wise for the big 3 PS4, Switch and XB1?

My bad. Typo resulted in 13M instead of 1.3M.

My prediction for November NPD was around 1.3M for the Switch (or 1.2M I can,t recall).

If nintendo says they have sold 8.2M in NA so far and that is until cyber monday this november, I was basically asking if we have their NA number for october so we can at least make some sort of estimate on how it has sold in november so far.

Hahaha, ok, that makes more sense...XD. I did not post a prediction here for Switch in November but I expected 1'3M too (I expected 1'9M or 2'0M for PS4 but it's clear i will vastly wrong with that.....such disappointed)

If we take from granted the numbers leaked from NPD until November and that 8'2M sold until 26 November, that means Switch has sold 900k until that day (26 Nov). That's why there a lot of discussion here because it seems a little low if we accept that Switch had the best BF ever, even surpassing Wii.

It clearly states that Switched Surpassed WII AND NO OTHER NINTENDO CONSOLES in that comparison.

Excuse me, what? I think you should really read that bolded sentence again.

It quite literally says that Switch became the best-selling Nintendo console in that five day period. Then, they follow up and say that they even surpassed Wii, which is notable because Wii previously held the record of being the highest selling Nintendo console in that period.

Yup. That's what it says......So, something don't add up. So we have something wrong.

a) NPD leaked numbers until November are wrong

b) The 8'2M sold until November 26 is someway wrong (too low or is until earlier than november 26)

c) That period of 5 days is not as great as it seems because different reasons

Choose your option. I choosed mine and i've accused of hater. If you think there are more option, i welcome your opinion.

Option D) The one I think that might have happened (similar to option B): That 8.2 million plus is missing the rest of November outside of those 5 days. I have feel this might be it (if it is a screw up), that is why I suggest when we get the numbers. If it large difference we attach it all to the last 6 days. 

Sorry, but i don't understand what you're saying. What do you refer to "rest of November outside of those 5 days"?. What's different from what i'm saying? Are you saying that the number is then until November 22??, Sorry but i indeed not understand that line...XD.

I am saying the guy who messed up excluded certain amount of days, so the numbers given was Switch Total up till October + Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend.

As in if the person screwed up, they forget the rest of November, would be funny if true. 

Again I will like to note, this is based on the assumption that if someone screwed up, that is where they screwed up.
