Call of Duty: WW2

Last year I kinda was in the mood for playing a campaign in WW2 in a shooter. So I got myself CoD. I never intended to try out the multiplayer, because normally I hate online shooters. But for some reason I gave it a chance and I got totally hooked. I played nothing else for 3 months or so. I don't know why I enjoyed it so much. But because I had so much fun, I even got the new CoD from this year. Played that one for two hours, never touched it again. Something about WW2 just felt right. Although I'm sure it has much to do with the War mode. That gamemode was just friggin' amazing! Sledgehammer Games is totally underrated in my book.

Why would I play things that I don't expect to enjoy?

A.O.T.2 (Attack On Titan 2).
I got for the switch the day it came out. I thought I might like this. I like the first season of the Anime and the developer but man I loved that game. It's one of favourite games on switch. It's one of my favourite games in a long time and I know it's got a few flaws but that only makes me want to see what they do with the next game!

This is pretty interesting, I saw the trailer and thought the graphics looked pretty lame, but I thought the in-town part with Historia looked really nice. Is there a relationship or community system in the game? What kind of flaws does it have? I enjoy the manga/anime and so I can probably forgive some flaws if the fanservice is nice.

Well as you progress in the games story you build up your friendships with each character from the Anime/Manga and you unlock little scenes with each of them so it acts as a great way to fill time between the epic battles. As for flaws, of course the graphics for the enviroments and buildings are dated as fuck but that's Koei Tecmo for you. Also two or three titans can be a bit overpowered unless you have the right support characters but in contrast the controls are really unique and you end feeling with the hd rumble that are controlling this crazy tech from the Anime. Also the game can get hard and you end feeling like you are doomed, which makes as that's the way the Anime is. I also got to like characters more through the game than I did in the 2nd season of the Anime.

by no means a bad game, i've just enjoyed it far more than i thought i would: assassin's creed origins.

i'm currently playing it. enjoying it way more than any other assassin's creed game i've played. it's a beautiful game with tons to do, and plenty of variety in tasks. i highly recommend it to anyone who's never played or enjoyed an assassin's creed game before.

I did not expect to enjoy Implosion much at all. Mobile phone games have such a bad rap but this game is exceptional.

Like Implosion for me, sometimes people buy you a gift and you try it out. My gf bought Implosion for me while I was at work (she wanted to surprise me) and since I cannot return it (stupid Nintendo policy), I decided to give it a try and it surprised me with its excellence.

Also, I have tried games like Katamari at my friend's house (a game I was sure was not for me) and enjoyed it. I mean, sometimes, we should at least try games that are outside our norm.

Red Dead Redemption 2. Never played the first one, I'm not a fan of Rockstar in general but I'm playing it cause my brother wanted to get through the story together and I'm enjoying it so far. There's a lot of little things I don't like but the character, story and gun-slinging is a real fun time.

A few that come to mind:

Plants vs Zombies
Pixeljunk Monsters
Mario + Rabbids
Katamari Damacy
Axiom Verge
Ico
Heroes of Might and Magic 2
Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!

It was a while ago, but Xenogears. I hated Mechs. Anything that had mechs in it, I hated it. Now Xenogears is definitely in my top 10 RPGS ever. And after playing Gears, I gave Xenoblade Chronicles a try and now Monolith has me by the balls.

OW!! XD

I wanted to see what was the big deal about this game and I thought the first-person perspective would make me feel dizzy...but the game completely blowed me away.

The quality that that has, the level design that that has, the atmosphere that that has, the environmental story-telling that that has

The first-person aspect worked so well because Retro Studios was formed by devs who worked on Turok. :)
