It is a very rare circumstance people get that kind of money a month with PTSD or else everyone in the military can claim it. Usually, you only get money if you are physically wounded. I'm actually related to someone who got hit by a mortar and lived and still didn't get that much.

Like I said in the previous post, we need to automate these combat jobs as much as possible and fast as possible. With the technology we have, there should only be rare circumstances we need a service member out there actually fighting. 

This is surely everything but the gun's fault.

Dude, find me an incident where a person stabbed 13 people to death in one go, then we can talk.

You know there are countries with much worse gun problems than the US? Central and South America generally have much larger problems with gun related deaths and violence.

Meanwhile, in my state, the NRA is trying to get mental health requirements dropped for gun ownership.  Three cheers for the NRA.

However, people yelling to "ban all guns" should just stop.  It's not going to happen and it wouldn't be a very good idea, anyway, not unless there is some magic wand they can wave to suddenly remove all 70 million guns from the country.  Concentrate on more realistic measures.

"But people get killed with other things!" is such a ridiculous argument.  With that kind of nonsense logic, nuclear bombs and chemical weapons should be legal.
