Bernie Sanders - clearly still very popular on the left, particularly among the progressives, but I can't help but feel that him championing another Democratic Socialist running on social Democratic policy would be a healthier thing to do. He is old.

Elizabeth Warren - She is my favourite of the bunch, as far as I have seen of her policy, none of it is controversial, and much of what she proposes seems long overdue. In addition, she seems to be on a higher level of intelligence when compared to most people in the Democratic party. HOWEVER, I don't think the US is even close to ready for a woman President; the US is highly sexist when it comes to politics, the number of women in US politics ranks FAR lower than the rest of the first world; it's in the range of Islamic nations in that regard, the US even ranks behind Iraq, IRAQ! Plus, I don't think America could have spoken more loudly that they did not want a woman running the country than they did in the last Presidential election.

Beto O'Rourke - He lost his senate race, but he lost in Texas to one of the most beloved and high profile Republicans. I think he has a strong presence about him, and a lot of youthful energy that guys like Bernie Sanders lack.

Joe Kennedy III (or something like that)... KENNEDY!!!!!!!!!! Kennedy.... Just say that name, KENNEDY!!!!! I seriously don't know anything about him, but he's the biggest celebrity the Democrats have, the Republicans got Trump voted in, clearly on his Celebrity status - and something similar happened in the Northern State of Canada where their current President is the son or grandson of their most famous President. I think the Democrats could run with that! Although I discovered a video a while back where he said he is not in favour of weed regulation - this will work heavily against him, IMO, considering this is the #1 issue among progressives in the US.

 Andrew Cuomo (from Nighthawk117) - His big pro is infrastructure. He got the new Tappan Zee bridge built and the LaGuardia Airport reconstruction project off the ground.

Anybody but Hillary Clinton. Beto and Bernie are good choices. I could see down the road, not 2020 but Richard Ojeda possibly in the future. They need to really restructure the electoral college to give power back to the people. The midterms are vote based, I don't see why for the president our votes are only pawns that choose electors who will go on to vote for either D or R (and don't have to be held accountable to vote either way). I just think it's broken. Winning the popular vote is nothing to sneeze at.

I honestly have no idea.. They don't exactly have a strong lineup at the moment. I'd say Bernie but he's getting up there, what is he in his mid 70's now? It's a bummer, as he's about the only Dem I'd consider voting for, along with Dennis Kuscinich (though Dennis is more of a fringe guy and I don't think he'd be a popular choice amongst the mainstream, neolib types)..

I think Warren hurt pretty much any chance she had with the phony Native American heritage fiasco, maybe Joe Biden? Though many might just view him as Obama pt. 2. I could honestly see Hillary having a big enough ego to run again, though the Dems would probably discourage that as she's extremely unpopular. Hell even within her own party she struggled to beat Bernie (a freakin Democratic Socialist) and mostly had to rely on Superdelegates to get by him.

Please let Hillary run again!. Obviously she won't win even the primaries this time but it would be so satisfying to see her lose one more time. As we say from where I'm from, she's corrupt to the bone!.

I'd say John Hickenlooper (former governor of Colorado, got termed out), but I don't think his name is big enough, but we will see as he has already said that he's interested in running. Besides that I say Cory Booker; he seems like a nice guy.

From what I've seen of these Democratic candidates, Kamala Harris or Kirsten Gillebrand would be good choices. I believe a more populist, younger voice would do better against Trump.

I don't buy the talk a woman can't be president in your country right now, Hillary Clinton was a cardboard candidate and won the popular vote easily and lost because of a few thousand votes in three states she didn't even visit.

Haha, I forgot Richard Ojeda. I don't know a lot about him, but Trump is TERRIFIED of the guy. I would love to see that.
