Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Luigi's Mansion 3 announced for Switch, coming 2019

I must say, it was so refreshing to start the direct right off with a brand new Switch reveal.

I enjoyed the Gamecube original so I'll almost certainly be buying this; what little they've shown looks very nice.

Omg yeeeesssss finally!!!!!

Great announcement, great Direct.

The best announcement! (next to the final fantasy). The 2 was one of my favorite games of the 3DS!

I hope they go back to the exploration focus of the original, instead of the mission based structure of Dark Moon.

I make game analyses on youtube:

Also, THAT is how you reveal a new game. With actual gameplay footage.

Not a pre-rendered cinematic or just a logo or any of that horseshit. Gameplay. Enough to show us what the game is like, but little enough to still keep us wanting more.

Also, Polterpup!!! I hope there's a Gameplay mechanic of some kind involving him, where he can help Luigi search for ghosts, keys, or any clues to help them progress. Plus, it'd be cool for Luigi to have a sidekick, while he's the main hero, for once!

OMG YES !!!

2019 is going to be absolutely bunkers for Switch around the world :

-Luigi Mansion 3
-NSMBU deluxe
-Yoshi
-Mainline Animal Crossing
-Mainline Pokémon
-DxM
-Town

assuming :

-Bayo 3
-MP4

and there will for sure be more games from third party devs like exclusives from Square and Ubisoft.

You forgot Fire Emblem :-p

I was talking so much shit when it started. ''Oh the damn 3DS game, who gives a crap'' then I was like wait what? WHAT!? xD

Luigi Mansion 3 looks more like a proper sequel in my eyes than 2 did.
