I'm down. There were like 3 or so I wanted from the last indie show case we had.

We had an Indies direct around this time of last year and a general direct just a couple weeks later, just relax everyone we should be getting one in the first half of September that give us stuff like the details for the Online Service, new Smash character, NSMBU Port, and Diablo 3's date, plus some 2019 stuff like Yoshi and Fire Emblem.

pretty much this, if I'm not mistaken we had some Kirby gameplay in the September Direct alongside other 2018 titles like Octopath and Wolfenstein, so I'd say the best bet would be games coming early next year like Daemon X Machina (as proven by it being showcased at Gamescom), Fire Emblem and possibly Yoshi

Yeah the September 2017 direct gave us details on Kirby and Mario Odyssey, the release dates for Xenoblade 2 and Skyrim, the first demo for Octopath, content drop for Splatoon 2 and of course the reveal of the Doom and Wolfenstein ports.
The March direct gave us Okami HD, South Park the Fracture But Whole, Undertale ports, the release dates for Mario Tennis, Sushi Striker and Octopath, and of course the big reveals being the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion and Smash Bros coming in 2018.
I think its a safe bet that the next direct should be within about 3 to 4 weeks and just about as meaty as those two were.

I hope so, the game was in the Nindies Direct in March 2017 for the launch of the Switch, it'd be about time

Interesting. Could mean a Switch direct (let's be honest, 3DS is dying right now) is just around the corner, too.

Well, judging from live reactions, it looks like not everyone enjoy Nintendo putting some time on directs for smaller games, so I think it's nice to separate in two different presentations so it can give a decent amount of time to show these games. |
Yeah, its better like this, people can have their expectation in check from those difrent Directs.

I defintly expecting normal Direct next month.
