It has begun. The biggest demand for the Switch has been fulfilled and the sales are going south slowly.

You honestly believe it will stay that way in a year where Smash Brothers and Pokemon are still to be released?

Point is that some people are buying Switch in order to play some great 3rd party games in full handheld mode also, games like Skyrim, Doom, Fifa, NBA, Rocket League, Darks Souls, Dragon Ball...definatly are pushing some people to buy Switch, best selling Switch games are Nintendo games but 3rd party games are selling quite good also, quite better than they were selling on Wii U and even on Wii.

One week dont change nothing really, and it's not point if Switch is little ahead or PS4 is little ahead, point is that sales are very comparible. June will be win for PS4 most likely, but rest of months will be interesting. If I recall Switch last year sold around 2.5m in Nov-Dec period combined whitout single deal or bundle, this years with Pokemon and Smash Bros and with potential some deals and bundles, hardly that Switch will sell less than 3m combined in Nov/Dec period, so we probably talking around 3.5m combined for Nov+Dec not 2.5m.

"It doesn't matter if Switch or PS4 is ahead"... "but I decided to say anyway since Switch was ahead with one week bonus"

I just copypaste almost hole post from Resetera, and that information actually gave quite clear picture how they stands without need to calculate yourself. But I guess you will again have hard time understand that like usual.

Off the top of my head, Resident Evil 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Anthem, Days Gone, Metro Exodus, The Division 2, and possibly Devil May Cry 5 (Spring release).

That's a pretty good list of software, but I don't think it's going to be enough to take Q1 2019.  One huge factor is that PS4 is an aging system and most people that want one have already bought one.  Switch is new, and people are waiting for their key game before they get one.

So, I think PS4 is going to dominate this year up until November or December, and then Switch will take over the hardware charts.  This is really about Generation 8 dying off and Generation 9 coming into its own.  It will happen right at the end of this year.  That's when Switch will overtake PS4 for good.

Never really know how people could say ps4 has reached its demand so less people are going to buy it when itsstill heavily the nr1 selling console and or handheld worldwide, with a pricetag of 300-350 there are stilll mill and mill's of people around to world waiting for a pricecut, and children growing up wanting a new system to play on to.

Demand is never met.

A 200 heck 250 dollar ps4 this dec-nov mixed with all the games comming is going to be gigantic.

Did everyone forget what happend last year when ps4 whas 200 for one week.

State of Decay 2 was May's best selling game, God of War 2nd and Detroit at 3rd.

Zombie games will never die. Good stuff for State of Decay 2. Probably quite rare that all 3 top selling games are exclusives (console exclusive in SoD2's part).

No wonder MS bought Undead Labs. Considering this doesn't include digital sales, I think that is fairly impressive for State of Decay 2.

That one does include digital, only * games are non digital. Hence the report from earlier of

1. God Of War
2. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
3. Detroit: Becoming Human
4. Hyrule Warriors

Being physical only.

Well I read it wrong then. Either way that is good of SOD2.

SoD2 being #1 is really impressive. The game is $30 standard edition and $50 ultimate and NPD ranking is revenue based. So it got top spot and isn't even a $60 game.
