even there check out the interaction between the enemies, you will get to know why it was 1v1, first one just underestimated the protagonist and it seems he says to the other two to stand down while he attacks, but watching him get killed in one swift slice, the one of the left clearly gestures that he will take him on first. and after that he kills them off so quickly that i don't think AI ever got time to attack..

Let's not pretend for a moment it was real time PS4 footage. Maybe PS4 Pro on standard HD but even then, that's a stretch. There was no LoD or physics change with distance to begin with, not a single pop-in as far as I recall, and the scripted particle effects also point on that direction. Even PCs with much stronger GPUs will have trouble if you artificially increase object distance to that ammount on games such as The Witcher III or GTA V etc. 

You’ve probably missed the other three games with graphics even more impressive, which all were running on PS4 Pro in 4K?

  • 30,000 leafs on the ground in the duel
  • Half a million pampas flowers in that field
  • They wanted a feeling of intensity and danger in the combat
  • Square button swings your sword exclusive reveal!
  • Jin Armor changes ,it has both mechanical value and narrative value.
  • Dynamic time of day and weather confirmed, like rain and windstorms
  • If you roll around alot in the mud you will be completely cover if it starts raining it washes away all the mud and blood
  • Simulated clouds all dynamic, not painted, never going to be seen twice.
  • Procedural skies and procedural sun break tech
  • The swordplay is all mocap
  • They photoscanned the ground from Tsushima and put it in the game.
