Yeah !! Ghost of Tsushima - DAY 1

the game will have VERY high production costs, i think. A real AAA-game with much love to detail for us :)

The atmosphere / details are just so interesting and beautiful at the same time. The game becomes the studio's biggest project.

My most anticipated game from E3 2018 after TLOU II. I've always wanted to play a proper samurai game.

I found this page today - the text is interesting, enjoy reading :) https://www.usgamer.net/articles/20-07-2018-ghost-of-tsushima-release-date-trailer-gameplay-everything-we-know

PS: i like this artwork... the atmosphere < 3

I am not sold on this game yet.

I like the general setting and I see the potential there, but there are things I am not entirely convinced on.

1. The combat, its too early to tell, but games like this live and die on how fluid and deep their combat system is. Even if its a 1-2 strike to kill an enemy type thing it has to be done right cause a lot of time will be spent in combat. A really good combat suytem doesn't need 10 differet types of weapons for the main character. Just needs one or two really good weapons with a lot of depth in combat to keep things fresh and interesting (just look at GOW).

2. The animations. Maybe its because the game is still early, but I sure as hell hope these aren't the animations that weget in the final game. They just feel stiff most of the time. I am not talking about the stillness of the characters as I believe thats doen on purpose, I am talking about teh actual animations when the character(s) move or make actions. Just feels like they are missing a couple more frames or something or lacking some things.

Running, horse riding and the swings of the weapons all seem stiff to me.

Well this showed late on my front page, but I have to say it again, what a marvelous look.
