I bought the variety kit for my nieces and after building it they were quick to move on to watching ninjago. They would look at it from time to time but just like any other toys they get bored of them easily.

Was that to symbolize how much they are actually charging you cardboard?

6.9 too much water makes cardboard soggy.

Anyway metacritic is 77 atm so that games seems average enough. Nothing special but not bad either.

I don't think review scores are going to matter all that much. We're going to have to wait and see what happens. At least in the US anyway.

Dang, too many people already did the joke with the review score...!

Though for real, the score isn't too bad considering the product. This is one of those things where you need creativity to get the most out of it. From what I've seen, a lot of cool things can be done with Labo.

Would it have gotten better scores i wonder if it WASNT made of cardboard?

I think the games themselves would have gotten much lower scores if not for the building process. So cardboard helped out a lot in this case.

Well building process is one of main point of Labo. :)

Whether or not it loses its appeal quickly likely relies on how easily entertained you are, how great you consider the novelty value, and whether you want to experiment with the garage.

So I think anyone interested should probably read the actual words in a review instead of looking at the number at the end.

Too much water, cardboard goes soggy in water.
