I'd prefer that they make the special edition consoles pretty plain. A special color, maybe two, and a small logo or graphic that relates to the game. This thing is too much for me.

With that said, I'd never buy a console based on its appearance. So, I'm not the target market.

I was thinking the same thing, I remember all the criticism when it was first announced.

It's not ugly. It's just... different. I've seen worse.

It looks tacky as fuck but tacky is "cool" right now so, yeah.

If I didn't know what's been put on there and why I wouldn't like it so much, but playing the game, I like it more.

It's a shame they didn't use the same silver as they did on the controller and then use a silver blue for the axe designs. It would have made more sense then and looked better.

Wait, is the drawing supposed to be the mark on Kratos' axe ? If so yes, it's ugly, there were better ways they could have displayed it. When I first saw it I thought it was a rappresentation of the nine worlds of the Norse mythology/the world tree...

I'm pretty sure it's both, since the world tree is represented on the axe... 

Oh, then it's just kinda bad, but there were better ways to display it while making a better Limited Edition. I was thinking about a Kratos drawing in a bottom corner with his arm raised  while the axe covers the rest of the console in perspective whith the blade being closer and visible and the handle pointing towards Kratos

It's not ugly, but they should have gone all out Kratos and lots of color red on the plastic.
