In this presentation Nintendo confirms that octopsth sold over 1 mil in the first 3 weeks by digital sales alone

Oh wow, so in the second year we already reached the same number of million sellers as in the first year, without even christmas. Obviously Pokemon and Smash will join, but as this is to the end of financial year, I also expect FIFA 19, Just Dance 19, NSMBUD and Minecraft. Maybe Civilization, I have no idea how well this will do on Switch.

It's guaranteed at this point year 2 will have more million sellers than year 1 as Smash next week and NSMB in January that will be 12 million sellers. Year 3 will be interesting to watch.
