It sounds like it right? They had a deal with Sony to make it, but instead of honoring it, they twisted it around to "just digital" because Nintendo wanted a exclusive deal (which they couldnt give them) but instead say "it ll be physical release exclusive to switch".

 

Also while Britain has questionable taste levels in games, its good to hear the French have great ones (jrpgs) apparently :)

It is very disingenious to say that this means that PS4 version has a physical option just like Switch. It's a limited edition (I don't think NISA produces more than 5k of these for any platform) that will only be available through their store. Beyond being grossly overpriced, no one will ever see it in any retail stores.

I didn't say it had a physical option like the Switch, I'm disputing that it's digital only when it clearly isn't.

I think he was specifically trying to refer to Alkibades' narrative that PlayStation is dying in Japan, and using From Software having a game on a Nintendo console for the first time as proof of that, while being incorrect as the GameCube, a console with pretty poor sales in Japan, even had more than one From Software game so them putting their games on a Nintendo console isn't really the be-all and end-all for PlayStation in the region.

Was more that he's making things up as he goes and correcting him has no real purpose. When a PS4/3DS games going to Switch is losing an exclusive, you know it's a discussion that's not worth having.
