It's very much been my backup console, and stable go-to as far as a steady flow of games I wanted to play. Wii was exciting and fun in its own weird way - but that was more of for the local multiplayer experiences, social gatherings, and quirky experimental games. A lot of its charm lay in the uniqueness of the games and the intuitive nature of waving around a controller and having that translate in game. Despite the impression I might leave, I'm actually far more of an Xbox gamer over the last decade or so than I Nintendo one. I'm something more of a retro brand of Nintendo fan than a modern one (although Switch has been a step in the right direction).
Didn't own a PS3, and because my PC was essentially useless for any gaming from the past two decades, 360 was my go-to more more traditional single player and online multiplayer games.
I've probably spent weeks playing on Xbox Live between the Gears series, Halo 3, COD, Borderlands 2, and others sprinkled in. Playing online for hours on end with my friends and cousin, those were the days man.. I still play some 360 on occasion. XB One is ok but it hasn't quite been the same.
