@Symbios: did you count that result thrice (since it covers 3 days) or just once for the averages?

As you can see on the graph, there is no dots for the 2 days I missed. So the result was only counted once. Maybe I should change that...

Guys, NPD results came in and this is an amazing result for the first full month of our NPD predicting tool !

Tool result for april : 1) PS4 : 716.6 points/day (1.0) ; 2) NS : 359.3 points/day (0.50) ; 3) XBO : 242.8 points/day (0.34)
NPD Results : 1) PS4 : 326k (1.0) ; 2) NS : 171k (0.52) ; 3) XBO : 134k (0.41)

I was not expecting to be that close. Well, it may be pure luck as well but this is an encouraging start.

Based on this, I won't twist the formula at all for next month and we will see if we can reproduce that level of accuracy.

Great work and good to see that this isn't far off at all.

So it looks like Sony will win May too at the moment, but the advantage is slowly melting away.

Btw, you think it's possible to extrapolate an approximate number of sales of the consoles from the chart now that we have NPD numbers for the averages last month (in a vein similar to COMG)?

I think this won't be possible.

Just think about the difference between "Switch SKUs are 5 and 10 on average during april on amazon" and "Switch SKUs are 5 and 10 on average during december on amazon".

I think only past year trends could help in this case. If this tool still exist next year, we could try (past NPD data may help as well off course)...
