If the people buying the games are fine with the microtransactions in them, there is no way you can criticize and say "hurr, keep supporting microtransactions".
It is how the market works. When an idea is universally bad, e.g Xbox One orig.vision, the market rejects it much the same. I never used microtransactions and I barely even buy any DLC, but I don't see the point of complaining anymore.
And that's without digital.
Interesting to note too, that FIFA and Call of Duty were the only games on PS4 to outsell Horizon. Call of Duty, FIFA, Horizon, Crash Bandicoot and Grand Theft Auto round out the top 5 for PS4. Talk about variety.
